Chapter 3

Felixa's POV
I must be dreaming.

That's gotta be it.

I'm gonna wake up and none of this even happened.

Yeah.

That's it.

I threw my bathing suit on then went out to the pool. Axzen scanned my body right away. I felt my face heating up. I walked over to the steps then got in the pool. I swam to a corner. Axzen swam up to me.

"What're you doing over here?"

"I-I'm kinda insecure."

He grabbed my hand and started swimming. We got over to Jason and the rest of their friends. We were all standing in the shallow end of the pool. Axzen wrapped one of his arms around my waist.

"What time do we have to leave?"

"Probably about like 4? 5 in the morning? It's a long drive."

"Are we all driving down in the same car?"

"Probably not. If we put Lix and Ax in the back of the same car then they'd probably just make out for the whole 5 hour drive."

"Oh ha ha."

"You were in there for almost 3 hours!"

"Okay. And?"

On Monday, I found Jessica. I was playing with one of the bracelets that Axzen gave me.

"J-Jessica?"

"Yeah?"

"We uh...we can't be friends anymore."

She started laughing.

"Oh? Why's that?"

"Y-you're wrong a-about Axzen..."

"Oh? I am? Nah. I don't think so. The fuck is on your wrist?"

I quickly hid the bracelet with my other hand. I started backing up. I bumped into something.

"Baby?"

I looked up and saw Axzen.

"H-hi?"

"Did you just-did you just call her "Baby"? Wow. This must be a dumb joke. Very funny. Very fucking funny Felixa."

Axzen stepped in front of me.

"Back off."

She got in his face.

"How about you make me?"

"Oh so we're doing this now? Huh? You seriously want me to hit you?"

Jessica slapped Axzen.

"You fucking bitch!"

Jessica managed to shove Axzen out of the way. I nodded she pulled something out of her pocket.

"W-what're you doing with a-a knife?!"

I went to run but she grabbed my hair. I screamed. She pulled me back then dragged the knife across my throat. I coughed up blood.

"NO!"

I fell to my knees. Axzen pushed her out of the way. He dropped to his knees right in front of me.

"Oh god. Oh god. U-uh..."

He put his hands on my throat. Jason ran up to us.

"FELIX! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

"SHE CAN'T SAY STUPID SHIT IF SHE CAN'T TALK!"

My eyes started getting heavy.

"No no no. Stay with me. Stay awake."

Jessica started running. Jason dropped to his knees. He put his hands on my throat too.

"You're okay. It's okay."

"Oh god. SOMEONE HELP!"

"I got you. I got you."

I grabbed Axzen's left shoulder and I grabbed Jason's right shoulder.

"Stay awake. You're gonna be okay. It's okay."

I woke up in the middle of the night panicking. I looked around and saw I was still in my room. I started checking my body. I didn't feel any cuts and didn't see any blood.
