My winter treasure

Chapter 10.

I have rarely left this room since Theo found me on the streets.

This is the main room of the house, it used to belong to Theo, but now I live here too. It is relatively small compared to other rooms in the mansion, but it is special because it has the best view of the front garden, plus a fireplace in front of the bed, and a private bathroom.

Theo's house is still a mystery to me, I don't like to leave here much, and all the times I did it was together with him. Like when we go to watch TV some nights in his game room downstairs, or when he wanted to show me the frozen lake at the back of the house from one of the tea rooms.

"When our puppy is born and it's next winter, I'll teach you how to skate on the lake, it'll be so much fun" Theo said excitedly as he showed me the lake.

"Do you like skating?"

"Yes, that's why I bought this house. I love winter, because it reminds me of you, it was at Christmas and in the middle of the snow when I met my destined omega."

Theo is so romantic...

"Which one fits me better? This one or this one?" I asked, showing a pair of shirts to Lisa.

"The white, I think the color brings out your eyes better Mr. Nick" She told me: "But the blue shirt is so pretty, it's very hard to choose."

"I know... Ah... What should I wear?"

As Theo promised, after lunch several employees brought me clothes, but not an outfit, a lot of clothes. Lisa told me that she would keep the clothes in Theo's closet, but first I had to choose what to wear, so I was a little dizzy, putting on fancy clothes was much more difficult than I thought.

"You could wear the white shirt with that gray sweater, I think it will match well because his coat is also gray" Lisa points out to me.

"That's a great idea, you're right."

Following Lisa's idea, I take the white shirt and with her help I put it on, looking at my body out of the corner of my eye.

All the bumps and wounds are gone now, only the scars remain. Still I don't like to look at my body, I'm finding it very difficult to be able to gain weight despite all the delicious food my alpha brings me, so I still find it disgusting to see my body so thin and somewhat malnourished. I hope that thanks to the expensive clothes my ugly body will be covered up, because I don't want the people at the expensive restaurant to feel disgusted by having me around, I don't want to embarrass Theo today.

"You look great Mr. Nick, very handsome" Says Lisa excitedly, clapping her hands.

"You think so? It looks very nice, I'm afraid I'll ruin my clothes with the food today.

"Don't worry sir, we have been practicing so that you stop eating with your hands and use the cutlery, I'm sure everything will be fine."

"I hope so... I will order something delicious for you to eat when we leave the restaurant, I will bring something delicious for everyone in the mansion."

"It's very kind of you sir, but don't think about me or the other employees today, it's an important night, you must concentrate on Mr. Gold and what you will do in the restaurant" Lisa asks me with a mysterious tone of voice.

I think everyone knows what gift Theo has prepared for me, but no one tells me anything, is it that important?

I look in the mirror for the last time, seeing my outfit, with a white shirt, a gray sweater, black pants and dark colored shoes. I look quite elegant, much more so than I have ever looked in my life.
