10:26 amBeyoncé sat on her bed, staring at the window in front of her with a dazed look. Her eyes darted between the birds, and the trees, and the clouds, but the scenery was the last thing on her mind. All she could think about was old times. Times where she felt so alive while working.
Times when her job felt more like a hobby or something she did for fun. Not when it felt like a responsibility or obligation. She reminisced on the people that made it feel that way. She wondered how they were doing, mentally and physically at least. I mean, everywhere she went, they were there. Looking all shiny and happy, but she of all people knew it was nothing like that.
Their lives were far from shiny, let alone happy. She wished she could be there to defend them or lighten their blows but sadly, they'd been separated for nearly 2 years now.
"Do it again. Light bright if you get in front of him again it's gonna be you and me" The lanky, pitbull-faced, man with an uneven fro grunted, grabbing the young girl's arm and dragging her next to Micheal. She very obviously rolled her eyes, causing Micheal to pinch her arm, subtly shaking his head.
Everybody knew how she got. She would die defending herself and didn't care about it. No amount of beatings could shut her up. That was something he loved about her. She was bold and unapologetic, and her voice showed just that. "Why are we even still singing these songs? I'm about to be 15 and here we are singing Rockin Robin" she muttered lowly, trying not to draw attention to her expressing her opinion, but of course, Joe Heard it.
"Because ya bird chest ass still look ten, that's why" he spat. "Well, what about Micheal? This boy is 16, as tall as a tree, and has one poking through his freaking pants. Now what's your excuse" she snapped with the quickness.
Marlon, Jermaine, Tito, and Randy held back their laughs and Micheal very obviously blushed, crossing his hands over his lower part discreetly. Joesph glared at Beyoncé before stomping his way to her. "Listen here little girl, Ian ya friend I will kick your high yella ass!" He exclaimed, jacking her up by her shirt.
She huffed staying silent. The only reason she was is because she was in a danger zone. Being within 2 feet of the man meant you were very liable to be hit at any moment. After what felt like years, he roughly let her go making her stumble.
"Again. Don't get in front of my boy again you high yella heffa" Joseph spat as he trotted over to his seat and sat down. Micheal grimaced at his choice of words and looked at Beyoncé to see how she was feeling.
He felt bad that he was older than her, and a boy, and yet he didn't have the balls to speak up as she did. He couldn't take being hit and was completely non-confrontational. Beyoncé always defended him in every situation but when it came to her, he was quiet as a church mouse.
