LAST DAYS IN TEXAS
OMNISCIENT
𝖠𝖿𝗍𝖾𝗋𝗇𝗈𝗈𝗇News about the girl's signing hit the media, and they couldn't escape the stoplight. Now reaching a broader, much more international audience and known as the newest genius of Joe Jackson, the girls were swarmed by paparazzi daily. Every time they moved with the Jacksons, a crowd awaited them. Due to her injuries, Beyoncé started fully covering up, unintentionally bringing more publicity to the group.
Now everyone couldn't get enough of the mysterious lead singer of Destiny's Child. She wore glasses everywhere she went, hiding her beautiful honey-brown orbs. Ever since that day, something changed in Beyoncé. She became more of a hermit and soft-spoken. She isolated herself from the group during her free time and found a way to sneak off with Lyndell.
She didn't mean to, but she needed some normality in her life. She couldn't separate her personal from work because her personal life was work. Being surrounded by the people you work with 24/7 could be exhausting. She found herself not being able to talk to her girls because something work-related always became the topic. They couldn't sit and gossip like normal teenage girls anymore. Now it was about schedules and photo shoots and appearances.
Lyndell quickly became her safe haven. She felt excited to sneak off to him at the end of the day and be in his arms. Little did she know she was in a bit of a funk with everyone else.
"Where the hell is Beyoncé!" Joseph exclaimed with angry flared nostrils. Everyone jumped and stayed silent. Nobody knew where she was. Nobody but Kelly, and she wasn't gonna give her girl up. "So now nobody can hear? Where's the heffa!" He slammed his hand onto the nearby wall making the room jump again.
He took a deep breath and shook his head. "When yall see that girl, tell her hot ass be prepared" he gritted before exiting the studio with a harsh slam. Everyone was afraid to breathe. The tension was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. "Bey's really dropping the ball man," Letavia said what everyone was thinking.
Michael couldn't agree more. He was even upset with Beyoncé for putting herself in a position to receive a painful punishment. She knew not to play with Joseph, but yet here she was. Michael wondered what she was doing. It'd better be worth it.
"She's in deep shit. Like deeeep shit" Tito said, finally looking up from his guitar. Noticing her silence, everyone turned towards Kelly. If anybody knew where Beyoncé was, it was her. "Fess up Kelly. Put us on beat" Jackie said, tilting his head to the side expectantly. Kelly jerked her head back with a stank face. "I don't know shit" she denied and everyone groaned. "Really? You really not gonna tell us" Marlon asked with a frown.
"For real! I miss my sweetheart" Randy pouted. "Not your sweetheart. And I have nothing to tell" Kelly shrugged responding to the two brothers. "You must want Bey to get Beyt. Get it? Beat but with Bey—."
"WE GET IT TITO!" Everyone exclaimed with eye rolls, making the boy smack his teeth and roll his eyes.
With a sigh, Michael spoke. "This is cutting into our studio time. Where is she?" He said to Kelly who shrugged again.
The door was pushed open and lo and behold, Beyoncé came bustling in. The room fell silent as she dropped her bag, singing loudly to herself. She hardly acknowledged their presence, muttering a low "hello" just to be polite. No one responded but Kelly making them mug her.
She found herself a seat with her notebook clutched in her hand. "Anybody got a pencil?" She asked and Letoya scoffed. "This hoe here..." she muttered but everyone heard her.
"Where you been at?" Michael couldn't help but ask. Beyoncé didn't bother to look at him, she scoffed taking the pen Randy handed her. "You ain my daddy" she spat. "Chill with the attitude Bey" Kelly was quick to say.
