"What did I tell you, boy? Have you made any advances?" Joseph grilled Michael as he drove to their destination. Michael groaned with his head in his hands not wanting to hear anything his father said. "The girl is insufferable" Michael replied and Joe could've flipped the car over right there and then. "Insufferable? You're telling me you can't put that Rottweiler down? You can't be serious."
Randy curiously perked up, being the only other person awake in the car. They'd just come from a restless night of recording and rehearsal. Jackie laid his head annoyingly on Michael's shoulder since he sat in the middle and Marlon on the other side. Randy was comfortable and laid across the three, leaning his back on the door to sit up. Tito was knocked out in the front seat.
"Who's insufferable?" Randy asked only to get blatantly ignored. "I don't care about none of that boy! You know her better than anyone. You know how she gets about authority. Stop trying to do the right thing. Feed into her defiance. Make her feel like she got a friend in you and then more than that. Come on boy, you're a Jackson. You can break any girl down if you want to. I'm giving you a week to get acquainted—."
"But Joseph—."
"But nothing. A week is all you have to get on that girl's good side. After that, I don't care what you have to do to get her to listen to you. If you gotta beat her into submission, so be it." Joseph stated and Michael grimaced in disgust. "I would never put my hands on her" he spat with a sharp glare. Joseph shrugged with a laugh. "Just putting ideas out there."
Michael went silent and stared out the window as they approached some type of club or restaurant that was blocked from public entry. Joseph rolled down his window and showed his face to the security guard who stood guarding the entryway. He was let in immediately and they pulled into the parking lot.
As Joseph looked for a parking spot, Randy did the honors of waking up all of his brothers in the most obnoxious way he knew how. He yelled in Jackie's ear making him jump up and punch him in the chest out of habit. He smacked Marlon in the face and Marlon angrily got up and pushed Randy back by his forehead. Lastly, Randy leaned into the front seat and held Tito's nose while he slept making him jump up and inhale sharply.
