"why does appa have to wait?" vada queried as they were all bended up the wall with toph and aang's earthbending.

"something big," aang stated.

as they got to the top of the wall, vada gasped at the sight of a giant drill. this wasn't good.

"we made it to ba sing se and were still not safe." ying cried.

vada frowned and someone called out to them. "what are you people doing here? civilians aren't allowed on the wall!"

they all turned to see two soldiers standing near them. aang stepped forward, "I'm the avatar. take me to whoever's in charge."

they were lead to some general, "it is an honour to welcome you to the outer wall, avatar, but your assistance is not needed."

vada folded her arms. "are you sure?"

"i assure you. the fire nation can not penetrate this wall. that's why the city is called ba sing se." he explained.

"many have tried to break through it, but they have all failed."

toph raised an eyebrow, "what about the dragon of the west? he got in."

vada recalled learning about the dragon of the west back when she still received lessons back home.

Prince iroh of the firenation, known for his great military status as general and also known for slaying the last known dragon, which earned him his nickname.

he had surrendered at ba sing se when he lost his only son, Prince lu-ten. and he went back to flthe firenation to mourn his loss.

it was said that he also had a refined love for tea. vada didn't know about that part, though.

"technically, he got in but he was quickly expunged." general how stated.

"thanks for the little history lesson, but we still have the drill problem." vada stated.

"not for long. I have sent a 'n elite group of soldiers called the terra team." general fong stated.

vada followed him and looked through a looking glass only to see his elite team be pummelled.

how looked up, "were doomed!" he yelled. sokka slapped the man across the face, "get a hold of yourself!"

"I'm sorry." he said and toph smiled, "maybe you'd like the avatar's help now?" she sassed and the general nodded. "yes please."

"how are we gonna stop that thing?" vada stated and they all looked at sokka.

"what?"

"you're the idea guy." aang stated.

"so I'm the only one who can come up with a plan? what about vada? she had a big part of getting us out of the desert!"

"not really." the white haired waterbender stated awkwardly. "besides, you were high for the majority of it."

"hey, I'm gonna go see of I can heal some soldiers." she said and walked off. the others followed her lead as they had nothing else to do.

~

vada was working on one of the terra team benders as they stood around her. she was trying to straighten out the crumpled up energy.

"what's wrong with him?" the general questioned as she finally hot his chi flowing again.

"his chi is blocked," she explained as she worked on the other arm. "who did this to you?" katara questioned.
