Chapter 26 -- A Hasty Decision

Elsa's P.O.V.

"Come on Els, I wanna show you something." Niall said as he took my hand. We were making our way through the hedges when he leaned down and kissed my cheek. When I went to the other side, Niall led me down by the edge of the river and stopped by some rocks. I watched as he moved some rocks and then pulled out a pink box with a silver ribbon.

"Here." he said and handed it to me.

I opened the little box and my heart stopped a bit when I saw the object inside. I touched my neck for the first time since I woke up and realized it hasn't been around my neck this entire time.

"How did you get this?" I asked.

"I took it when you were in the coma." he said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because it reminded me of the day I told you I loved you, so I brought it to our spot, and I just thought your spirt and our love would always be here." he said and put his forehead to mine.

"Even if I wasn't here, my love and spirt would always be with you." I said.

"I know, but this just made it seem more real. Here, let me put it on you." he said and took the necklace. I turned my head, lifted my hair, and felt as Niall put the necklace around me. He then kissed the back of my neck and I giggled.

"Elsa, do you know how happy I am to have you here with me. I feel like I'm completed again." he said as he played with my fingers.

"I feel the same." I said and leaned forward to press my lips to his.

"Let's go back to the hotel." he said and held his hand out.

"Alright." I replied and entwined my fingers with his.

Back @ Hotel

"Hey guys." I said and stood half way in the door.

"Hey Els, where have you been?" Louis asked.

I then tugged on Niall's hand and he walked in the doorway.

"With him." I said.

"Yay!!" Liam shouted.

"Whoo!" Harry said.

"Finally!" Louis shouted.

"Aww!" Zayn added and they all ran to hug us.

"Our group is finally back together again." Liam said

I laughed and then the boys backed away from us and Niall snaked an arm around my waist.

"We've been waiting for this moment for so long." Zayn said.

"You've been waiting long mate? I think we've been waiting long." Niall laughed.

Louis tugged on my arm and dragged me towards the couch and pushed me down. He then plopped down next to me and kissed my cheek. Niall sat on the other side and pulled me close to him.

"Oh hey babe, I'll be right back." he said and got up. I watched as he made his way to the office room and went on Zayn's macbook.

"So Els, are you happy? Honestly?" Harry asked.

"I really am." I smiled. "This proves it."

"You got your necklace back? How?" Zayn asked.

"Niall had it this whole time." I said.

"Ohhh." the four boys said in sync.

"I'm so happy we're all together again." I said and threw my arms around all four of them.

"So are we Els." Louis said.

"Hey Elsa?" Niall asked as he made his way back out into the living room.

"Ya?" I asked.

"How would you like to take a trip to Mullingar?" he asked as he hovered above me and I leaned my head back over the edge of the couch.

"You mean to see your family?" I asked.

He nodded his head and I smiled.

"I would love to. When do we leave?" I asked.

"Tonight." he said. "Our break starts today, so why not start a vacation as soon as possible."

"I'm ready to go as long as you're with me." I said.

He smiled and then leaned down to kiss me.

"I love you." he said.

"I love you too." I replied.

"Okay, that I did not miss." Harry said.

"Ya get a room." Louis added.

"Whatever. Zayn will you help me pack?" I asked.

"Of course love." he said.

"Babe, I'm going to run a few errands and then I'll just meet you back here." Niall said as he walked to the door. I ran to the door and threw my arms around his neck and kissed him.

"Man, how I've missed you." he said as he pulled away.

"Same, now go." I laughed.

"Come on Zayn." I said and pulled him towards my room.

As Zayn was helping me pack, he was being abnormally quiet.

"Zayn, are you alright?" I asked.

"Ya I'm fine." he said.

"No you are not. You never just say you're fine. What's bothering you?" I asked.

"How do you always know?" he asked.

"Because I'm your best friend." I smiled. "Now tell me."

"I'm bothered by you and Niall being back together." he mumbled.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I love you and I don't wanna see you get hurt again." he said.

"Zayn, I'll be fine. I promise you." I said.

"I just want you to remember I'm always here for you." he said.

"I know that." I said and kissed his cheek.

"Alright, now let's finish your packing." he said.

About an hour later Niall finally came back and I was ready to go.

"Is it sad that I've missed you even though it's only been an hour since I've seen you?" he asked as he put his hands on my waist and pulled me close.

"No, it just shows how much you love me." I said.

"I do love you." he said and kissed me. "Now are you ready to head out?"

"Definitely." I said.

Niall and I said our goodbyes and made our way to the airport. We had to wait a few hours for our plane so we just laid in each others arms. As we were waiting, fans spotted us and kept asking for pictures of them and Niall, and they kept asking me where I've been. I just ignored them and stayed close in Niall's arms. As I was curled up in his arms, my phone made a loud ding noise.

"@NiallOfficial has mentioned you in a tweet!" I slid my lock screen across and was directed to twitter.

"Thanks for the cute picture Ni." I said and looked up at him. He smiled at me and then leaned down to kiss me.

"You're welcome babe." he said and adjusted me in his arms.
