Darling and Dear (Applejack x Rarity)

The bus arrived at camp and the main six hopped off the bus, "ye haw, fresh air and nothing but trees for miles, i'm so happy to be back at camp" Applejack shouts as she steps off the bus, "i wonder if anything has changed since Gloriosa" Twilight says opening her notebook, "i just can't wait to beat Apple at all the activitys" Rainbow dash says smirking at her competoter and friend.

"oh you're on rainbow" Applejack says fixing her hat "first one to the rock wall is a rotton apple!" Applejack shouts before running down the path Rainbow racing after her, "will those two ever grow up?" Sunset asks the rest shake their heads, once the others had finished setting up their tents, Apple and Rainbow arrive back finding there bags have been moved into their respective tents, "guess i'm bunking with you rare" Applejack says kicking her muddy boots off at the entrance.

"yes darling it seems so, thank you for not tracking mud in" Rarity says greatful, "guys! the new counselor is Timber" Rainbow says peaking their head in the room, "well thats wonderful dear. hopfully his sister can rejoin him soon after her rehabiltation into socity" Rarity says Applejack just rolls her eyes.

The three meet the others at a picnic table close to the water, "what'ca yall doing?" Apple asks, "talking about how Sunset never wants to use her powers on pinkie again" Twilight states, a horrifed Sunset sat next to her "never" Sunset states "its nothing against you pinkie, your brain is just a lot" Sunset says assuring her friend "oh i know, i live it" Pinkie says with a smile while eating an ice pop.

Rarity walks close to the edge of the drop off into the water looking over at the trees, "be careful rare" Applejack shouts worried as her friend walks closer, Rarity turns around, "I'm fine, dea-" Rarity is cut off as her heel slips, gasps can be heard from the table but Apple acts fast slidding over and grabing Rarity by the arm swinging Rarity into her arms.

"are you ok?" Apple asks still holding Rarity close, Rarity stunned, and a little flustered, nods "words honey" Apple says letting the honey slip out, "I-I'm ok" Rarity says still a little shaken, Apple sighs in relife and stands Rarity up right, "ya just be careful next time, alright? so there's not a next time" Apple says her accent thick.

Rarity nods still staring at her friend, Applejack and Rarity walk back over to their friends who crowed around Rarity if shes ok, Apple stands back gripping at her jeans trying to not show how much that scared her, after dinner that night everyone heads back to their tents for the night.

Rarity is in the out house apliying her night cream and curling her hair, Apple is in the tent climming into bed petting the brim of her hat, "Apple what-" Rainbow stops her shouting and looks at the hat in Apple's hand, the two have been friends since they were kids, Rainbow never talked to Apple's parents but knew how much it hurt Apple when they, ya know, "bad time?" Rainbow asks Apple hangs the hat, "no, no your a fine rainbow, whats up?" Apple asks sadly.

Rainbow walks into the room sitting next to their friend, "we'll i came to see how you we're doing, since you didn't say anything at dinner, barley ate your food, and kept avoiding Rarity, whats that about?" Rainbow asks, Rainbow dash isnt the sentimental type but she can't help when she sees one of her best friends in clear distress. Apple clings to the blanket, "its nothing rain, i'm fine" Apple says "well thats not very honest of you" Rainbow dash teases "come on Apple i'm your best friend whats going on?" Rainbow persist.

Apple doesnt respond, trying not to let tears prick her eyes and failing misrably, "Apple?" Rainbow said concerned and Applejack strongest of them all broke, tears fell down her face, she didn't sob or shout, she just laid on her friend's shoulder and let the tears fall, Rainbow not great at giving physical affection pets her friend's hair as the sleeve of her shirt got soaked in tears.

Rarity walks back to the tent peaking in before entering, find Apple asleep on Rainbow's shoulder, Rainbow who make eye contact with Rarity as she entered the tent, "wh-" Rarity starts but Rainbow shushes her "could you take my place? Timber said to be in tents by midnight and its five minutes till and i would rather not get told off by a guy only a year older than me" Rainbow whispers.
