Baker Girl (Raph x Female OC)

(Raph's POV)

Walking through the streets of New York City arent always pretty but my favorite thing to do is find hidden gems in the city, like Ron's the best pizza place hidden in the back of an ally or this craft store that's run by a sweet old lady who always tell me "your little sibling needs more paints, how is micheal?" she always asked before handing me a set of paints shes about to throw out before getting new stock.

Its my favoirte thing to do alone exsplore the stores and food shops bringing home gifts for my family and friends, today though i wanted to try walking down a new street see if i can find something new, i stroll past apartment buildings, cars honking at each other, and then i see this cute bakery, a line out the single cream wood door.

Purple flower on vines crawling around the huge bay window, i peak in the window, the shelfs against the walls filled with books tables and chairs filled with people sipping their coffee and eatting pasteries i have to see what this is about, i wait in line for a bit just admiring the outside of the building but once i was inside inside I was even more impressive, the ceiling completly painted in all sorts of colors, the vines from out seem to follow you inside and the shop seemed much smaller outside but it was pretty big on the inside.

Children run past the line a bag of bread in hand laughing as the rush out the door, i look back at the walls, art surounding every inch of the white walls, "can i help you?" a sweet voice asks, i look and i've arrived at the counter, looking at this gorgeous person, i suddenly get shy she looks confused "i've never seen you here before, you new?" she asks my mouth closes up so i just nod she smiles sweetly "well i suggest for someone like you to try our plain croissant and a caramel coffee" she says her voice with a cute southern accent.

i clear my throat "umm yeah that, i'll do that" i say shyly, she rings me up "and whats the name for that order?" she asks "umm Raph" i say quickly "well, umm Raph, I'm Alisa" she says Alisa such a pretty name, i pay after dropping my card more than once, i find myself a table and wait for my name to be called.

i few minutes go by and someone sits in front of me at the two person table, its Alisa, her braids still tied back into a low ponytail, her apren still on, and a smile on her face, "Heres your order Raph" she says sliding me my coffee and croissant "so you new to New York or just this part of town?" she asks "j-just this part of town, i-i've lived in New York my whole life, what about you?" Raph says trying not to sutmble over his words.

"Oh, I've lived in New York since last year? i think, or was it two years a ago, eh something like that, I moved in with my dad and his boyfriend" she says pointing at the man runing the cashregister, i smile and wave the man waves back, "Yeah, he's the best, so what school do you go to?" she asks trying to keep conversation.

We talk for fifteen or so minutes before she has't to get back to work, i head home and get asked where i was today, i don't tell them anything and just head off to finish homework for monday, the following wednesday after dropping Donnie off at robotics i stop by the cafe again seeing less people today, i get my coffee and walk over the shelf of books looking at all the titles "do you like to read?" a sweet like honey voice says.

I turn around and see Alisa, "not really, my dyslexia makes it difficult, i wish i could read for fun and not end up throwing the book across the room" i say she looks at the books before grabing a dark blue cover with two siloets of people on the cover "this is my favorite book of all time" she says showing me the book "They both die in the end? sounds a bit morbed" i state, she giggles.

"well what your favorite book, audio does count" she says i scan the shelf and pick up a book April gave me for christmas one year, "this one, i read it while listing to the audio book it helped" i say showing her a good girls guide to murder, she chuckles "and you say mine is morbied" she says, i place the book back and we sit and talk.
