My friends came over to my flat and we got ready. All dolled up looking like the scrunched up 6 dollars you forgot about in your back pocket on those jeans you never wear. Well look no further here I am, crying... again. Thankfully I hadn't put my mascara on yet so it was an easy clean up. My friend Dahlia told me about how she met this dream guy and they were almost like official. My other friend Erin, as single as one can be. She hasn't found anyone good enough for years. We were all ready and a bit tipsy. We went to the first club and danced like our life dependent on it. I went over to the bar to get us some drinks. I was not paying for that, so I had to make some remarks to a couple of guys sitting there. We started talking a little bit, and they offered to buy us the drinks. I took the drinks and was about to go back to the girls. As I was turning around, my eyes caught a glimpse of a familiar face. The guy from the other night who walked me home and also had to drag me out of the bushes. I wasn't sure that he had seen me yet, so I just took my drinks and went back to my friends to avoid making myself look like a clown again. I had forgotten to tell them about that guy and how much of a fool I made myself in front of him. I completely forgot about him when I went back to my friends and the night went on as it usually does. As we were about to leave the club my friend Daliha noticed him and went over to the bar to talk to the guy. She was blushing and making all kind of flirtatious gestures. The she came back all jumpy and gitty with him. She introduced him as her BOYFRIEND? I looked at him in complete shock and then my head slowly turned back to Daliah as my mouth dropped, dripping drool on my shoes. I was too drunk to care, however, that means I made a great first impression on her new BOYFRIEND. I could feel his eyes on me as I stared at Daliah trying to signal her to go to the bathroom with me to talk to her privately. I started trying to point to her to go with me and then pointed to the bathroom behind me to indicate to her let's go. She, clueless as ever, poor soul, she did not get my signal, so I accidentally blurted out "I was trying to tell you to go to the bathroom to tell you about him. Good God, you clueless b-" I stopped myself from further embarrassment. Now I could feel everyone's eyes on me. I slowly but surely melted into the ground and hid under an invisible cloak. Or I thought I did. I actually just slid down to the floor and crumbled into a ball. This was not happening, why do I do this to myself. For the third time this stranger had to help me up. I knew I had to end the night early today. I was not drunk enough for this embarrassment. This was suppost to get my mind off of my break up. That worked a little too well and now I'm humiliated, again. I told my friends it was time for me to go home. I couldn't do this anymore. They just stood there silently staring at me like I had a clown costume on and they weren't sure if they should laugh or run. As I was walking out of the club I felt someone tug at my arm. The guy/Daliahs BOYFRIEND offered to call a cab for me. I scoffed at him and told him "In this economy. If I only had a couple of more millions in my wallet I would gladly take a cab and a private airplane while at it." He retought about his offer and told me he would walk me home again instead then. He didn't want me to be wandering the streets at this hour so drunk. Does that count as cheating I asked him genuinely. "Yes. Under the court law you can not walk drunk girls home when you're not in a relationship with them." He anwsered sarcastically. "I'm not a cheater! I'm not!-" I shouted still inside the club. He pushed me out and told me to get walking. I was stumbling as I remembered that I just lost my boyfriend of a whole year. Was he even my boyfriend if he already had a wife. I sobbed and started talking about how he was suppose to marry me and not his wife. "Maybe I should get him back." I suggested to this stranger. "I don't think that's a very logical idea." He anwsered calmly. "Oooh -I have a better idea! I can make him jealous!" I said. "Or you can move on and find happiness. That will certainly make him jealous." He anwsered snarkly. "All I heard was YES! Go for it queen, such a slay." I anwsersd him proudly. I skipped the rest of my way home on my toes. I made him hold my high heels for me before my feet would be pecked by birds thinking it were just a couple of dead rodents. We got to my door and he handed me my shoes back and told me to have a safe night and sleep tight. I unlocked the door and was about to turn around because I realized I never got his name but he had already left. oOo mysterious of him, he's always dissappearing. I'll just call Daliah and ask more about him tomorrow before I make myself the official mascot for the international clown association.
