Erick has been eyeing me like a hawk. Watching my every move. I'm not the one being haunted anymore. Erick always sleeps besides me and he keeps moving around and getting up while he sleeps.

It's only a matter of time when I can find the right weapon against him. It's not like he has one laying around by any chance. The ghost girly has left me alone completely now, only irritating Erick. She must be getting revenge on him or something. I'm not the first one to be here, probably not the last if I don't put an end to this.

I was sleeping peacefully when I felt myself losing control of my body. I got up from bed and walked through the locked door and navigated to the library. I placed my hand on a book and pulled down and the bookcase popped open with a slow screech. I walked inside and went over to the desk. I opened the first drawer and pushed a button and another secret drawer popped opened. I opened the drawer that had opened and reach my hand into it and pulled out a silver dagger. I saw a reflection in the shiny silver and it was that woman. It was Ericks wife. It must be her haunting him, and haunting me. Why would she be helping me, however...

I woke up in bed. Erick had left like he sometimes does when he has a nightmare. Does he know it's his wife. He's not here though so I can check to see if the daggers there. Now all I need is to avoid Erick to sneak into the library and get the weapon. Hopefully that dream wasn't just trickery.

I went to the library stopped by the door when I saw Erick sitting by the desk again. He had his elbows on the desk and placed his hands on the back of his neck. He was in deep thought. He had been so stressed lately about this ghost. I was about to turn around when he started talking. "I've been smelling a familiar scent around here lately... tangerines." He said as he sat there still. "Judging by your silence, I think you might already know something about this." He said as he turned around to face me. I looked at him saddened as we both knew. "I see..." He said upsettingly. He stood up and walked out. I went over to the desk and looked at the photographs of his wife that he had spread across it. It didn't make sense how many decades apart some of the pictures were. Some were of a diffent girl that looked like a doppelganger. The girl that went missing a few years ago. She was kidnapped...
Whe she returned she started talking about these red roses and the black ribbons in the news. I didn't realize how old the tactic was that he was pulling on me. What the fuck am I doing here.

I looked around the tunnels to see where Erick was and saw he was no where to be found so I ran back into the library. I opened the secret book case door and went over to the old desk. I opened the first drawer and looked around for a button. I was starting to doubt myself and losing hope of ever finding this button when I heard a click. I looked to see if it worked, and sure enough another drawer had popped open. I went into the drawer and dragged out the dagger from my dream. I held it up and dusted off the grime. I started looking at it analyzing it. I saw the reflection of the ghost in the shine of the silver. It spooked me and I accidentally dropped the dagger. There was a loud clatter as the dagger hit the floor and landed. I heard it echo as I bent down and picked it up quickly in a panick and closed the drawers and ran out. I closed the bookcase door.

"What are you doing?" I heard behind me. "I just wanted to look at these books. This is quite a collection you have here." I said as I faced away from him pretending to look at the books ok the shelf.
"I've been collecting for quite some time now." He said. I could sense he suspected me of something. I hid the dagger behind some books. I looked back at him as he started talking about some of his favorite books in his collection.
