Passing daddy for the forth time, he laughs to himself.

I came to give an helping hand and I'm doing so by bringing in the things my step mom wanted to hang on the walls.

Most of these painting and artwork was done by me. All that I gifted daddy to put in his furnished rental homes, it seems she had most of them here.

Even the flowers I drew that daddy criticizes, saying it looks like a cartoon pussy.

Like how?

A wah dat?

Him nuh have not a filter.

Back to the cause of his laugher, it's quite obvious by the way I'm walking funny.

"There's people just like you and me, we pass them in the traffic that never fall in love and so mih haffi say mih lucky. Nuff a dem not fortunate enough to have someone. Some just cannot see beyond the flesh and it's so funny. Never get too caught up in yourself to feel the magic." He sings while fixing a stylish table that Candis bought off Amazon.

I hung the black and white abstract painting on the wall.

"True love come and pass you by in life, it is so tragic. Opportunity is scarce so take it while you have it. Don't wait'til you a panic." He continues, look over his shoulder at me.

Noticing that I'll watching him, he turns around.

"When the last bwoy yuh deh with mek a big mistake." Now he's pushing it. That's not how the song goes. "Lef and gone fih good and miss out something weh great. Loyal and full a faith, when nuff a dem a move fake."

"Daddy." I warned.

"Leave me alone, big ooman." He chuckled then turned to whisper. "Unnu use boots?"

"No wih use swiper." I hissed, ready to walk out.

He laughs.

Hearing chatter coming from the next room and getting louder by the second, daddy and I shared a look.

"They have him posted over Pinkwall, twice." Selena spoke.

"One, he's eating the face off that girl and two, the way he stood on the falls." Another voice whined like a child that didn't get what they wanted. "I could see every piece of him."

"Let me ask Maxwell if he knows her." Célina shushes.

In walked the twins and another girl.

They smiled and waved at me just to be polite then turns to Daddy.

"Maxwell, can I ask you a question?" Célina asked.

"Sure, what's up?" He puts down the screw driver and looks at her.

"You're close with your boss son, do you know who his girlfriend is?"

While she asks, Selena and the new girl were staring at me.

I looked away and hung the last painting.

"Oh my God." Selena gasped. "It's you."

"What!" Célina snapped.

I turned to look at them without saying anything.

"Maxwell." Selena looks at daddy with disbelief or disappointment. "You introduced your daughter but not me?"

"What?" He played dumb.

"I can't believe this." The new girl shook her head.

Célina sat on the couch and glares at daddy and I.
