A similar test results came back from the lab and her recent checkup was good as well.

I'm only worried about her complexion being that way and wasn't showing signs of changing back.

We took a trip to see her paternal family and break the news to them about her current issue.

I few shed some tears and her grandparents kissed her so much that her aunt barely got a chance.

They too were surprised when we exited the car. Sani didn't only had a lighter complexion, but she grew a lot since she left.

I asked for family pictures and took some as well. The ones I got on the spot, I added it to the photo album I bought on the way there. In hopes to create a collage of memories for her, as well as a family tree that I'll be making real soon.

I can't have her missing out on who her family members are.

I was telling daddy my plans for the family tree when Miss Candis demands that I don't left her family out. Since she was Sani's grandma.

Overall, the Maxwell, Blackburn, Masters, Haven and the Grove's were her grandparents or great grand parents.

Apart from Sani, I was still in a mood where I answered whatever question French asked, but I don't speak with him.

We were almost at his house and I really didn't want to be there. Not after he suggest that I take more things from my house and bring it to him.

I openly called grandma and told her to pay my overdue bills, feeling his stare on my face since then.

Grandpa dropped us off at French's house and I looked outside the gate, imagining myself leaving.

I can't take Sani because she's asleep on his shoulder and he's standing behind me.

Waiting.

Rolling my eyes, I turned to him and he stares right back.

"Don't play with me, Zayelle." He warned, turning as he approached the door.

I roll my eyes again, then looked around the yard.

The lawn is perfectly mowed as usual and all flowers got trimmed. Everything except the fruit trees looked spacious.

I was outside enough to see when French returned for the luggages. Walking side by side with Gruff towards the backyard.

Every plant from under the window were gone. A wooden cover was made for the pool and it basically baby proof the whole area.

Seated with Gruff's resting his head on my lap, I lightly scratched his head and admires him.

"They took you to the vet. I can tell." I smiled as he made a small bark. "I missed you too."

He was the first to notice French and my mood returns when he brought a seat and sat next to me.

Then he starts staring at my face.

"Do you hate me this much?" He asked softly.

"Mih nuh inna the mood, French."

"I'm not Jehlani or Lani any more." He sighed, looks away from me as Gruff gave him a ball.

He threw it and it was chased after.

"I'm sorry for the way I reacted. You do have a valid reason and I was wrong..."

"Mih nuh need an apology, French. You said what you had to and that's your input. Mih nuh care no more." I held back the urge to roll my eyes when he stares at me again.
