#5: You again?!

Goldheart's POV

He really did left...
What about me... What about my promise... I should've stopped him! I should have never let him leave, what is wrong with me?!
Well... At least he's still gonna call me... right? I hope..
I can't stop him anymore anyway
I started walking inside our base where my other hero friends are already inside
"Cmon dude, cheer up! At least we don't have a burden in our place anymore!" Sunblast suddenly stated who was floating beside me
I quickly smacked his mouth for what he just said
"Don't talk to my brother like that and he never was a burden" I sternly told him then proceeded to get inside, leaving a dumbfounded hero behind

Flug's POV

I know it's still been minutes but I already started to get tired of walking
People in this town seems to be in peace and happy
But why do I feel they shouldn't be? I'm mad at my comrades but doesn't mean I should be mad at them too! They're innocent
I just want people to notice and know me too...

Sighing, then just sat down on the nearest chair that was only outside of a building
My bro has a point... I have nowhere to go... Where should I go and live up my own life..? Now that I think about it... What am I really? What were my main purpose of living... I mean, sure I make inventions to help people but what was my title? Do I have a title at all or I'm just one of the pathetic citizens? Sigh..

"AAAHHH SOMEONE HELP!" Someone yelled, interrupted my thoughts as I quickly stood up
The noise was coming from one of the alleyways of the town
"HELPP!!" it was a girl
Dang, where are those heroes?! Even just one hero should be there by now! Oh I know!
I tapped through the buttons of my watch to call Goldheart but he suddenly doesn't answer
Weird, he usually answer as quick as he could... Ugh speak of a devil..
I started to wait for a while, hoping any so called hero would show up... But 1 minute later, no one showed up, the people in this town are even acting deaf, I'm pretty sure they heard the screaming!
"ANYONE!!"
Tsk, this isn't my job.. But.. I just couldn't take it!

I rushed towards the alleyway where the voice came from and it didn't took me long enough to finally see what was going on
There were 3 girls, 1 was dead, other 1 was crying beside the dead body, and the other 1 was... Her again?? The one I encountered at the base yesterday
"Oh ho ho, look who do we have here~ Funny.. It's you again, the bag on your head what makes you remarkable" said the villain
"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A HERO?!" The crying victim yelled as she held on her dead friend I assume

"For your information, I'm not hero" I bluntly corrected here
"BUT STILL, YOU COULD'VE HELPED US! IF YOU HAD ARRIVED EARLIER THEN SHE WOULD STILL BE ALIVE RIGHT NOW!" she cried out again
Tbh, this got me a bit and some guilt started to build up inside me
"Ugh, will you shut up?! You're so damn annoying!" The villain groaned as she scratched the face of the victim as the victim started crying more, this made me snapped back to reality again

"Hey! Whoever you are, you're a dead meat!" I yelled at the villain as I took out a weapon from my pocket, but before I knew it, I suddenly got punched in my stomach as I hit the wall with my back harshly
I yelped in pain as I dropped myself on the ground
How is this girl has some enormous strength.
"You mean, you're the dead meat? ~, btw my name is just soooo easy to remember, it's Demie. I want to know yours too before you die! HAHAHAHA!" the villain, Demie stated as she started laughing maniacally
I looked back at the victims from behind, gave her the signal to get out of her
She stood up while carrying her dead friend then gave me a death glare and started sneakily walking off to escape

I slowly stood up and pointed my ray at Demie but she quickly smacked it away from me
She's fast as well! Damn.. I underestimated her..
"Well... I... I'm... No one!" I yelled at here then harshly shoved her off of my way as I started running on the different path
"Hey! You're no fun! But... I like playing 'it', I'm it then!" She exclaimed as she was now chasing after me
What's up with here?! She's so creepy!
Rushing, I grabbed a laser gun and quickly shooting her from behind but she just dodged it all until I'm out of ammo
Shit! She's a fast runner as well..

I grabbed random stuff on my pocket and it was an oil
Opened it quickly then poured it recklessly on the ground and good thing that ridiculous plan of mine didn't fail as I saw her stumbled, tripping, and rolling into her feet as she hit the ground harshly
This gave me more time to get myself out of here but this alleyway is a maze!
Still running until I suddenly reached the dead end
Looking around but I don't seem like to find another ways
Ugh, if only I didn't lost my other backpack, my flight devices are there... Uughhhh
I facepalmed to myself

"Hehehehe~ there you are~ oh I can't wait for another fun time meal~" I flinched, knowing that she already found me
Slowly turning around to see she was now right in front of me
I yelped in surprise
Quickly tapping on random buttons again on my watch but contacting Goldheart doesn't seem to budge
Where is he?! What is he doing?? Ugh I really thought he's gonna answer my damn call now!
"W-wait, we can still t-talk this out!- EEP!" I stuttered until she harshly grabbed my wrist where my watch should be and snatched it away from me then started destroying it by stomping on it

"I hate nonsense talks and
I don't want any disturbance during my meal!" She yelled, I started trembling in fear
My watch! Also...
Is she a cannibal??

"Seems like you did a good job this time, Demie" someone suddenly interrupted
That voice... No...
She works for Blackhat?! That explains her skills and ability..
"Wait, REALLY?!" She beamed as she turned around
While she was distracted, I took this chance to kick her away but before I could take out any weapon from me... Blackhat suddenly launched to me, pinning me to the wall behind me and his one hand holding my wrists above my head
Now digging his nails through my skin until it went deeper as I began to whimper in pain

I heard Demie just squealed from behind, just happy to watch Blackhat doing his thing
"I'm surprised you still have the guts to get out of your safe place after our last encounter the previous day
Now... This is for the other day indeed" he growled as he started digging his nails deeper through my wrists
I started screaming in pain and begging him to stop
"Who's underestimating who now?~" he grinned as he moved his other hand towards my neck and started choking me
"YES! GO LORD BLACKHAT SIR! Show him what we're really capable of and who we really are!" Demie exclaimed excitedly
"Hmm... Now that I think about it, I think I have a better evil idea~"
