'Pit-pat'

The sound of the rain could be heard outside of Pulau Rintis Academy, many of its students rushed out of the school as soon as they heard the bell rang. A certain pigtailed girl could be seen walking up to a pink uniformed hijabi. "Yaya! You wanna go home together?" She cheerily asked the girl, now known as Yaya.

"We always go home together you know? You don't have to ask me everytime, Ying." Yaya giggled at her friend. "I know but I have to make sure! So, what's your answer?" The glasses girl asked, anticipating for her friend's reply.

Yaya gave her a sorry look before replying, "Sorry Ying, but I can't today. I have a meeting with the other student representatives." Ying became gloomy but then went back to her cheery self. "It's okay Yaya! I understand. I can just go by myself today. Good luck with your work!" Ying gave her a two finger salute before she went away.

'It's really raining hard these days, huh?' Ying thought as she opened her umbrella. 'Good thing I'm always prepared!' When she was about to step out into the rain she saw a familiar orange dino hat in the distance.

"Boboiboy?" She called out to the person standing, who appeared to be in deep thought. "Hm? Oh, hey Ying!" The said person smiled.

"Why are you still here? Aren't you gonna go home?" She questioned him. Boboiboy scratched his cheek and nervously told her that he forgot to bring his umbrella today. "Haiya! You really are forgetful aren't you?" Ying scolded, Boboiboy could only utter an 'Ehehe'. Ying sighed, already used to her friend's forgetfulness.

"Wanna share my umbrella?" She offered. "Huh?" Came the response from the dino hat boy. "A-Are you sure?" He hesitantly asked. "Do you want to go back home all wet, huh?" The pigtailed girl gave him an irritated look. "Eh- No! Um.. Well, if you're okay with it, then thanks Ying." He agreed, not wanting to argue.

"You're not using your penguin umbrella?" Boboiboy inquired, noticing that she was using a clear umbrella instead of her usual folded one. "I just bought it... since the old one was too childish." Ying responded, cheeks pink due to embarrassment.

Some kids came up to her mocking her umbrella saying that she's too old for that kind of pattern. Yaya, who was with her at the time, reassured her that it is not and that she shouldn't care about what they said. Ying appreciated her concern.

Of course she agrees with her best friend but she did thought that it was too old for her already. She had the umbrella when she was a kindergartener, it was too big for her at the time, but now that she's grown, she needed a new one.

"Childish? But I thought it was cute though." Boboiboy smiled, tilting his head to the side. "You have weird taste then." Ying bluntly replied, the elemental wielder could only sweatdropped at the response.

Both of them are currently walking side by side with Ying's umbrella being held by Boboiboy, he insisted on holding it for the both of them much to Ying's pleasure.

Well, he is taller than her, so there wasn't much of a choice either.

The rain had died down a little, not as hard as it was before, making their walk home more pleasant and peaceful.

'Hm? Wait.' As they went down an alleyway, Ying had a sudden realisation. "Hey, why didn't you just use one of your element to help you cover from the rain?" She questioned.

Boboiboy stopped walking, eyes wide, realising that he could've just used Air (Water) to shield him from the rain. "Ah." Was all he could mutter from a minute of not saying anything, still thinking about how he had not thought of using his powers.
