Haunted Mission

Do you remember in the amusement park chapter where Ying had found out that Boi has a fear of ghosts through a mission?

Well, this is essentially what happened...

"A ghost?"

"Yes! Rumour has it that the cave in the middle of the forest over there—" the man pointed towards a direction as the two TAPOPS members followed his finger, "—resides a spirit who's trying to take revenge on the ones who killed her. But apparently she thinks that anyone who go inside the cave are those murderers."

Halilintar and Ying glanced at each other. "Do you—" Before Ying could even finish her question the man shoved his hand to her face. "Buy something first, then you can ask more questions." The man sternly said, crossing his arms.

The two deadpanned at him. Halilintar unwillingly bought the skewer that the man sells, that looked to be one of those space lizard skewers in Planet Junkberg. Whether they wanted the skewer or not they were desperate for information.

Right now, the two speedsters were trying to find some clues on the distress signal that they got when they were in the middle of doing their main mission. They didn't know whether the signal came from a powersphera or someone who needed help, or maybe even a villain that's trying to mess with them. All they know is that it came from a cave in the middle of a forest, where they are currently heading to.

As soon as Halilintar had bought his food, the man went back to his business smile. "Pleasure doing business with you! How can I help?" The man asked them. Without further delay, Ying asked if the man knows if there is any round robots spotted around and in the cave. The man went into a thinking pose, "Hmm... Nope!" He cheerily said. "Is that all? Would you like another skewer?" He offered, eyes blinking innocently. The two TAPOPS members quickly shook their heads and went away after saying their thanks to the man.

As they went away from the vendors, Ying began to sigh frustratedly. "A ghost who kills people? Seriously?" She huffed. "And even if there was a ghost, it can't be the one who sends us the SOS." She muttered.

"Ughh, I don't know anymore!" She scratched her head in frustration.

"What do you think Hali?... Hali?" Ying glanced at the lightning element, calling out his name when he didn't seem to reply.

"Huh? W-what? Sorry what did you just say?" Halilintar stammered. "Nevermind." Ying sulked, having been ignored. Somehow, he seemed to be somewhat nervous, or even scared, about something. Ying caught on to this but she decided to shrug it off, thinking that he might be worried about his other counterparts, they might get into trouble if Boboiboy forgets again.

Prior to this mission, Boboiboy had split into three, so that they could finish it more faster. Each of the Boboiboys were put into separate groups. One of them is currently with her, while Taufan went with Fang and Yaya. The other one, Gempa, stayed with Gopal and Qually.

While on their walk towards the forest, Ying rewind back her memories about the details on their mission.

"So, do you guys get that?" Fang asked his friends. All of them nodded, except a certain Indian boy who seemed to be lost in thought. "Uhh.. hehe could you repeat that? I was a bit lost when you started to talk about us splitting up." The boy sheepishly smiled. Fang exhaled a sharp breath, getting tired of him but he should've been used to it by now, at least this time he was honest.

"Alright, I'll say this again, so you guys better focus." Fang said sharply, glaring at Gopal who made him repeat his words twice. "Our main mission is to rescue the powersphera Agebot and those who are going to do this mission are me, Yaya and Taufan. While Ying and Halilintar are going to find out what the distress signal is about. The others, which are Gopal, Qually and Gempa are going to find repair parts for the ship." Fang said with one breath.
