Troublesome Women - Shikadai Nara

first date???

Shikadai was tired
He wanted to see her already but kakashi was always on the way
He thought of asking the hokage for help but then remembered He had way more important business

The only option left : to go in when he leaves to get some sleep
But even then he leaves his dogs at the door
So his only option was the window

He went close to it and tried to listen on what's going inside
To his luck kakashi was just leaving
"Goo already" she tells him and God is shikadai glad he heard her voice after a week
"You don't need to show me how much you love me , it's okay " kakashi says sarcastically
"But I'm still leaving pakun outside your door " he says
"I still don't get why you do that when we're in the village "
"To protect you ofcourse "
"No one's gonna come in the village and in the hospital to kidnap me " she says rolling her eyes
"Yeah yeah , we'll I'm off then" he says and leaves

"I thought he'd never leave to be honest " he says entering the room
"Shikadai , what are you doing here , and why did you come from the window " she says confused
"Well I did try coming from the door three times but your dad stopped me so I found another solution " he says
"I hope you get well soon " he says looking at her
"Thank you " she says
"You know you're all over the new since you came home , THE MASTER OF THE SEA, they say stopped a war before it begun" he states
"My dad told me about that " she says
...
"So are we gonna play or not" she asks when he just keeps looking at her and doesn't say anything
Then he gets close to her bed and then hugs her tight

"S-shikadai " she stutters a bit being surprised
"I'm glad your ok , really I don't know what I would do if something happend to you" he says still hugging her
"I still need to breat..." she starts bit when she feels how warm he is she puts her hands on his back to continue the hug but just as her hands touch his back he bolts away
"Let's play" he says
"You know what I want ice cream " she says
"Your in a hospital I doubt you're allowed to have that" he says
"Besides your father would kill me if he saw me here imagine what will happen if he sees us going out"
"Well I never said it was a date shikadai but since you want to then we can go" she says with a smirk
"H-h-huh , you s-said..." he stars but can't finish " Yeah fine I'll take you for ice cream" he says and then they both go out the window and to the nearest ice cream shop
They get their ice cream and go by the lake and sit there with their legs almost touching the water

(This but imagine shikadai and Maeve)

"So want to tell me what happend there" shikadai asks when he sees that she is looking at the water in front of her
"Hm,  I don't know whatever I felt in that moment ,I don't even remember,  all I remember is that my body became one with the water , that I was water  and all I had to do was help my home " she says not looking at him
"The marks were complete expect for the one in my forehead because I was knly using water " she says
"Well your back now , in your real home  , where you don't have to only protect because there will be plenty to protect you " he says smiling at her

While maeve was looking at him without any emotion showing
"Oh like you?" She says teasing him
"Yeah exactly like me , in fact I'll be the first to pro..."he stops talking when he realises what he's saying

"I-i mean you have a lot of friends and , I too will help protect you ofcourse "
"Thanks" she says and then puts her head in his shoulder

After 10 minutes of them staying like that shikadai checks on her and sees that she has fallen asleep
He carries her bride style and takes her to the hospital
He enters the same way they left being careful about not hitting her in any places
And then puts her to bed
He moves her hair to the side and kisses her head
"I'm really glad you back" he whispers
He turns to leave but Maeve has caught his jacket and then pulls him in the bed
and puts her arm around his neck so he wouldn't leave

Like dis ^^

His first thought was to try to leave because kakashi would be back but the warmth from maeves body changed his mind and he snuggled even closer to her
