Maeve was in borutos house
It was morning 6 o'clock and everyone is asleep expect naruto who is at the office

*flashback*
"You took him in ? Wow that's unexpected of you nisan "
"He reminds me of myself "
"You know there are a lot more people who might remind you of yourself why don't you go and take them in to" she says
"I don't get why are so angry with that , it was just one day off "
"You think that the reason I'm angry ni san , because it's not "
"Then what is ?" He asks
"Alright you want me to be the bigger person here , fine , you cant take kids in just because they remind you of little you , because you don't know what's behind them "
"I know but..."
"What if he's tied to something big enough to destroy the village , what then" Maeve says
"I'll take care of that when the time comes for now I want you to look after him for a while"
"I don't know if you know my father But he will rather die then allow a guy stay in the same house as me"
"Well then you'll stay at my house ,for a week or something "
"Fine"
*flashback ends*

And now here she was just sitting on their couch reading a book when hinata comes down
"Maeve , what are you doing here ?" She asks
"A mission" maeve says
"Oh is it about kawaki?"
"Uhm yeah so for a week or so , I'll be living here "
"Oh well you can sleep on himawaris room then " she says
"Dont worry about that,  I'll sleep here " Maeve says pointing to the couch she was sitting
This way she would be closer to the room kawaki was sleeping so it was gonna be better

After an hour boruto came down and kawaki woke up as well
Neither of them saw Maeve and were both heading for the bathroom
They began fighting who was gonna go to the bathroom first when naruto talks from inside the bathroom and telling them to go do their business outside

After two minutes Maeve hears them fight
"Please go separate them " naruto says form inside of the bathroom
"Ugh fine" she says leaves the book and goes outside
They are still fighting and only when they activate their karmas Maeve interferes and makes the tree branches crawl around them
"Maeve when did you get here" boruto says while kawaki just stands there looking at her
"I'll be here for the week boruto " Maeve says
"Really why?"
" ask your father" she says going inside
"HEY ARENT YOU GONNA TAKE US OUT OF THESE" he calls after her but no response
"Thanks " he says patting her head
"I really hope you washed that hand ni san"
"Hey I don't have a hygen problem " he says

After a while of just standing at the house someone enters

"Maeve?"
"Oh hey shikadai what's up?" She says
"Not much , I was wandering if you had a mission or not today but I guess you're hanging out with boruto" he says
"No she's not , she's here on a mission for kawaki" boruto says
"Kawaki , oh is that the kid who they got form the lab " he asks
"Yeah " Maeve says and kawaki enters looks at shikadai then sits across from Maeve
"Do you want something " she asks him
"No " he says and takes the book she was reading
"I was reading that " she says
"Now I'm reading it" he says not looking at her when a hand takes the book from him
"She was reading it " shikadai says and gives it to Maeve
"Thank you " she says looking at shikadai who was still glaring at kawaki who was glaring back
"Whats with that look shikadai , are you jealous " boruto asks or rather teases him
