It was morning and Maeve had just woken up from sleeping in her living room on the couch and her back was like hell
"Goodmorning "said a voice from her opposite
"Aghh" says Maeve getting up instantly
"What the hell..." she mumbles looking at the prince
"Sorry did I wake you?" He says smiling at her sipping his tea

Maeve doesn't say anything but goes to the kitchen and her father is there
"Good morning Maeve " he says not looking at her
"How long will he stay here?"
"I told you last night that about three days "
"But dad..."
"No buts , those were the hokages orders" he says
Maeve doesn't say a thing and just turns to leave
"Breakfast isn't done yet"
"I'm going for a walk " Maeve says and goes in her room to change

After two minutes
"Remember you have to train today" kakashi reminds her
"Yea yea I'll meet you at ground three in two hours "Maeve says
Usually on her day off kakashi trains with Maeve to see how much she has improved and he's usually surprised

Maeve was walking around the village and comes across boruto and sarada looking at the shops for something
"Whats you guys talking about?" She asks coming from behind her
"Oh hey Maeve,  good timing , we need your help " boruto says
"With what exactly "
"We need to know whats written on the books your father reads Jiraija senseis books" he says and Maeve looks at him
"Why"
"What do you mean why , he was my dad's master so I gotta see if he's as awesome as dad says "
"He's not" Maeve says
"Ehhhh how would you know ?"
"I've read the books , they're not for our age " Maeve says and then shikadai comes
"Hey guys " he says but boruto and sarada are looking at Maeve shocked
"Hey shikadai" Maeve says and then turns to them
"If that's all then..."
"Noo wait what do you mean, not for us if you have read it?" He asks
"It's a book for grown ups boruto , give it up already" she says
"But..."
"I read it without my father's promisson and I got detention for that" she says
"Ahh man , she can't help us , let's go sarada we'll asks someone else" he says and they all leave expect for shikadai
"What was that about?" He asks her
"I got no idea " she says and turns to leave
"Where are you going ?" He asks
"I have training with my father , wanna come"
"It's gonna be a drag but sure"

They go to the training field and stay there for half an hour then Maeve sees kakashi and prince kudo coming together
"Who's that?" Shikadai asks
"Not my problem that's who he is"

"Hello Maeve ready for training " kakashi asks
" Did you have to bring him too" she says referring to the prince who now set next to shikadai
"Did you have to bring shikadai" he asked
"We're gonna go over that again?"Maeve asks
" Well I couldn't leave him alone At the house "
"He has guards , just have them take him around the village "
"That's your duty tho "
"What ?"
"He told you last night Maeve,  he told the hokage to have you showhim around the village , his guards are disguised for the week "
Maeve was speechless
Why her tho , she had other business to do , and on her off day too

"So are we gonna start ?" Kakashi says and then thy start training

Meanwhile with shikadai and the prince
"So you're Maeves friend ?" He asks
"Hmm , you can say that " shikadai says looking at the prince who's looking at Maeve
"She's really good isn't she ?" He asks
And shikadai looks at him surprised
"She is , we're a team actually " he says
"Is that so , a team huh ?"
"Yes , we actually go to missions together just the two of us and are a great team " he says now smirking while the princes smile has fallen
"I'm sure even if anyone else was on her team They would be great , I think it's just who she is" he says now looking at shikadai with his side eye
"I doubt that , I'm the best teammate she could get , she told me that"
"Well it might have been a fast decision"
"Oh trust me it was not , she told me that after our second mission togather "
"It doesn't matter those kind of decisions can change really fast" the prince says
"Not gonna happen " shikadai says and then looks at them as does the prince

And from the looks of it Maeve seems to have the uper hand although kakashi then catches her leg and then she falls
" I can't believe that worked , you always got out of these trick " kakashi says
"I'm tired "
"Oh why's that?" He asks with a smile
" really " Maeve says with a twitching eyebrow
"Well you take the prince around the village , I'm going home " he says
"Noo ,come on dad" she says still on the ground  as he leaves shikadai and the prince come over and gives her their  hands
Looking at both of them Maeve decides to get up on her own
"Well come on ,were going through the village Now " she says and the prince goes to her side smiling at her
They get ready to leave when Maeve turns around realizing that shikadai hasn't moved from his spote
"You're coming with us right?" Maeve asks him and the prince looks at him While he smirks at them
"Sure , I wouldn't want to leave my partner all alone on this " he says

They go around the village both of them on both sides of Maeves bickering at eachother
"Is there something wrong with you two " Maeve says
"No not at all " they say at the same time

They kept walking around for a while showing the prince the leaf expect one place
Maeve and shikadais spot
"Alright that's most of it I'm going home" maeve says and turns when shikadai remembers
" You're gonna met me at the same place tonight ?"he asks knowing that the prince would take it the wrong way
"As always " she says and then leaves with the prince following her
