Chapter 40

~Shawn's POV~

I woke up in the middle of the night and everyone was asleep. I decided to go up to my room and go to sleep. As I was walking over everyone I stepped on someone's leg and I looked over at Lauren. Her eyes fluttered open and looked at me.

"Oh my gosh, you scared me I just had a scary dream." She shyly laughed.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's okay, where are you going?" She asked.

"To my room." She nodded.

"Do you want to sleep in Taylor's bed to be more comfortable, I don't want you to be scared because of your dream." I flashed a smile.

"Yeah sure."

We made our way to my room and I walked in and flopped onto my bed stomach down. Lauren then flopped down on top of me laughing. I rolled her over and I stood up to get different clothes to change into, I was going to go to the bathroom to change though.

I finished changing and came back in wearing basketball shorts. I looked over to my bed and saw Lauren on my bed asleep and I laughed to myself.

After turning off the light I crawled into the bed next to her but turned the other way until she started moving around and hugged me from behind. Again I turned around but this time to face her. I wrapped my arms around her then fell asleep.

~Lauren's POV~

I woke up in an unfamiliar room soon realized that I fell asleep on Shawn's bed instead of Taylor's oops. I felt Shawn moving around and I moved away slowly trying not to wake him, that didn't work.

"Don't leave me." He said fake crying causing me to laugh.

"Sorry but I'm hungry."

"You'd choose food over me?"

"Um, that's a hard one. Just kidding of course I would sorry." I was half way off the bed when he pulled me back and wouldn't let me go.

"Babe please don't leave me."

"Oh so I'm your 'babe' now? Nope. I'm getting food." I tried wiggling out of his grip but couldn't and he tickled me so I stopped trying.

I just stood there thinking about how he just called me babe. I was pretty happy, I began smiling to myself.

"What are you smiling about?" Shawn asked me.

"Uh, nothing." I tried avoiding it.

"Tell me, Laur."

"It was nothing." I say by him smiling again I couldn't help it anymore.

"You're still smiling."

"Shut up, I know. I can't help it."

"Is it because I called you babe?" He asked smirking and wiggling his eyebrows.

"If I say yes will you shut up?"

"Maybe." He smiled at me. Damn that smile.

"Then fine, yes." I said embarrassed.

"Don't be embarrassed," He hesitated, "babe." He started laughing at me causing me to blush.

I picked up a pillow and hit him with it and got up walking to the door.

"Wait come back I won't say it anymore." I looked at him and walked down the hall before his arms wrapped around my waist.

"Okay now I'm getting hungry too, lets go get donuts."

"Okay."

I guess Kian and JC heard us because they ran out of Kian's room begging to come with us. We agreed and got into Kian's car and he drove us while Shawn and I were play fighting.

"I'm getting cream filled." Shawn said.

"No those are my favorite I'm getting some too."

"What if there's not enough for both of us?" He said acting silly.

"Then I get a bite of yours."

"Not unless you say you love me."

"Well I guess I'm sticking with glazed." I said making Shawn's mouth opened pretending to be hurt.

"No because I'm going to steal all of yours just because you won't say it."

"Fine, get fat." I said crossing my arms.

I just noticed JC looking at us like we were retarded.

"Ya'll are so weird." He said shaking his head. I shrugged my shoulders.

We arrived to the donut place and ordered. I thought it would be better to eat here so no one else would know that we got them.

Shawn stole one of my three so I grabbed one of his cream filled and put cream on his nose.

"Ha, and no I'm not getting it off." I laughed at him.

He look at me and put his nose on my cheek causing the cream to get on my cheek.

"Hey!"

"Hi, do you want me to get that off?"

"Yes." I said handing him a napkin but instead he kissed my cheek.

"Ew, you have cooties." I said slightly shoving his shoulder.

"Well now I have you cooties all over my shoulder, thanks." Shawn said sarcastically.

"You're welcome." I smiled at him.

I saw Kian and JC looking disgusted.

"Ew, you guys are so cute it's gross." Kian said covering his eyes.

We finished our donuts and got back into the car and made our way back home.

Stitches came on the radio.

"Can you turn it down I hate hearing my voice on the radio." He said looking embarrassed.

I looked at him in disbelief.

"But you're an amazing singer." He smiled.

"Thanks."

I laid my head on Shawn's lap and started getting tired because I was full. I slowly fell asleep.
