Chapter 14

~Lauren's POV~

"Hey you guys! We have something to tell y'all!" Ricky and Dianna said walking into the house. I peeked around the corner and saw them holding hands, I've seen this coming.

"What?!" Kian yelled from his room sounding pissed off. Well that never happens. (Note the sarcasm) Everyone piled into one room, except Kian, JC, and Trevor, so they went ahead and told us.

"Ricky and I are officially dating!" Dianna said happily.

"Awe! Rickanna! I ship it!" Aislinn yelled. Everyone laughed in response. Then we all separated into different areas of the house. I went to see what Kian's problem was.

"Hey Kiki, you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, what did Dianna and Ricky need to say?" He responded still looking at his laptop screen, obviously not fine.

"Oh they just said they were dating."

"Cool." I went up behind him to see what he was looking at but he was just editing a video.

"Kiki! Give me a piggy back ride!" I begged like a little kid trying to get him up.

"No! Cant you see I'm busy! Gosh, why is everyone so fucking annoying, get out of my room!" He yelled loud enough for the whole house to hear and it wasn't long before people started coming up here, wondering what was going on.

"I'm s-sorry I'll just leave y-you alone now."

"Good!"

"Damn it Kian, stop yelling at me!" I spat back at his remark and pushed through the crowd of our friends and went downstairs to Connor's room.

After about 5 minutes I heard a slight knock on the door, which I was turned away from, and then someone opened it.

"Hey." Trevor came up behind me and rubbed my shoulder.

"Hey."

"What's up with Kian?"

"I don't know, I need to get ready for cheer practice." I spoke up slightly and pushed passed him.

I got to my room at Jenn's house and saw Andrea.

"Hey boo, what's up."

"Nothing just about the get ready for cheer practice." I said trying to sound happy.

"Okay then I'll leave you to that." I nodded and walked upstairs and pulled open the drawer with my cheer clothes in it.

I grabbed my neon yellow and black Nike Pro leggings with the matching sports bra, a Smoed shirt, and Smoed bow. After I finished putting my clothes on I went to the bathroom to do my hair. First I grabbed my paddle brush with a large L on the back and pulled my hair back into a ponytail and put my bow in. My bangs started to fall so I picked up a bright yellow head band and placed it securely onto my hair.

After putting on my cheer shoes I walked back over to the O2L house and saw the other girls dressed as well.

Everyone including all the boys piled into one car and we drove to the gym.

Ricky drove, Connor was in the passenger seat, Sam was behind Ricky with Kenzi on his lap, next to him sat Aislinn. In the third row, Abby was behind Sam, Dianna was in the middle and I sat on Trevor's lap behind Aislinn.

Everyone pretty much forced me to sit on Trevor's lap because we would "be a cute couple", as they said.

The car ride was 20 minutes and we were all just singing to all of the songs that came on the radio. Then we finally arrived.

"Since this is y'all's first practice, they can stay and watch." Orby said gesturing to the boys.

First we started stretching and warming up tumbling and another girl named Lauren Benzies was talking to me. I think she said she was twelve and her highest tumbling was a double full, it was beautiful. Thats as far as we had gotten before they broke us up into stunt groups.

The flyers were Aislinn, Lauren B., me, and a girl named Madisyn, who seemed really sweet.

My backspot was Kayla and my bases were Lindsey and Kenzi. I don't think Lindsey liked me that much though.

The first stunt sequence we tried was double up to opposite heal stretch, tik tok to arabesque, double down, reload dip to one legged extension kick up scorpion pull to needle back spot backs up, flyer falls back still holding needle then is pushed back up to a prep, bump down to load (bases switch grips to basket) kick double baskets.

Mine hit with a little struggle but we worked on it. I didn't watch the other groups.

Eddy told us to do them together, they all hit and the boys watching clapped. Sam and Ricky's mouths were hanging open in shock. I giggled at them.

"Shut up and get serious." Lindsey said to me rolling her eyes but then Eddie told us to get some water.

"Hey Lauren, do you have a nickname I can call you so it won't be weird with our names?"

"Yeah, I like when people call me L, just the letter."

"Okay." I said smiling back politely.

"Wait Lauren."

"Huh?"

"Those boys look familiar." She said gesturing over to Connor, Ricky, Sam, JC, Trevor, and Kian.

"Oh yeah, they are a little famous on YouTube I guess." I laughed. Then went back into the mats.

"OH MY GOSH ITS O2L! IM GOING TO DIE!" Kayla started screaming. The boys laughed, not in a mean way, then went to go give her a hug.

Two more hours went by and practice was over. We got back into the car and headed back home in the same seating arrangement we were in before.

"You were great out there." Trevor whispered in my ear which made me jump and laugh at him.

"Thanks." I replied, probably blushing.
