"What was that dumb shit?!" Sevika growled at the younger, blue-haired girl.
Jinx cocked her head and stared up at her innocently. "What? We might see her tonight since she's going out."
Jinx of course listened in to your conversation on the phone. She was excited when she realized you guys would be at the same destination.
"She's going out? To the club??!" Sevika asked baffled. "And you thought it would be a good idea to hint that we would be there where shit might occur?!"
"She doesn't know that we'll be there. I never said that. I just said we might see her tonight." Jinx smiled.
Sevika rolled her eyes, another growl escaping. Another thing for her to worry about.
"What's wrong? You worried she'll get in the crossfire? That she'll see the big, bad Sevika in action? Or that she'll end up on someone else's lap-"
Sevika aggressively grabbed Jinx's collar and lifted her up. "I'm worried that you're going to fuck up like you always do, and then I'll have to clean up your mess like always!! You're good for nothing, you selfish, entitled brat. You should just go run on back to daddy and stay out of my way!" Sevika spat the last few words out.
Jinx eyes turned red. She didn't like what Sevika said, nor her tone. She dropped a small smoke bomb to cause Sevika to drop her. Sevika quickly ran out before she passed out. Jinx had her gas mask on as she walked out with a pep in her step. Sevika yelled out that she was a psycho and Jinx just smiled back at her. At least that's what you could assume she did under her mask.
Sevika coughed making the local people keep their distance. She was angry. She was tired. And all she could think about was you being at the club.

"Girl you have a thing for your boss?" Karla started laughing hard as she was switching lanes. "Now you took a whole other turn for your type. Or maybe she was your type all along."
You rolled her eyes. "I don't really have a type. I'm just really feelin her a little, but not too much. She seems like she's into some shit that I don't wanna be a part of."
"Like what?" Karla asked, her eyebrow raised.
You started twisting the dial to switch radio stations. 'Super Freak' by Rick James popped on. You turned up the volume dial a little, being satisfied with that, you gave an unsatisfied answer. "I don't know.."
Karla looked at you with a deadpan expression before laying her eyes back on the road.
You sighed. "I mean she looks like she messes with drugs or sells them, and if not, she seems like she's a part of the group that does demonstrations or rebellions in the name of Zaun. Which is not bad, but those people aren't all that good either."
"Just say they're thugs." Karla puffed out.
You rolled your eyes again. "She's not a thug. Not everyone from the undercity are thugs. We know that firsthand from our upbringings, but she definitely deals with thugs. That's for sure."
"Right right right..." Karla pulls in near your apartment complex on the topside wannabe-ers side. She turns off the car and looks at you. "Girl, I know you want to go completely out of your mom's foot steps. And trust me, I understand why. But that doesn't mean you have to go to rock bottom to create that path for yourself. I want you to do what's best for you in all aspects. Now this chick, she seem cool and all, and maybe a little exciting, but there is a reason our mothers brought us up. I love and embrace where we come from, and I find piltover and topsiders a disgrace to society, but our people sometimes dig themselves into deeper holes than the ones piltover puts us in. We go to war and hurt ourselves in the process. I know you're not aiming to go up, and I know you're not aiming to go down, but don't get yourself into the mix with people that don't aspire to grow with you. You can grow above and beyond, and still create your own path instead of following your mother's whilst holding love for home. Your boss don't seem like bad news, but she don't seem like someone who tries to be better. Like any other people from undercity, they see one way, up and in circles not realizing they're digging into their own downfall. I just don't want that for you. Quite frankly, I've been so worried. Things have been getting worse out here. I just want you to make sure you know what you're doing, the risks your taking, and if this is all beneficial for what you truly want. And that's all I have to say."
You took it in. You felt your defensiveness grow as sometimes, Karla's criticism went along your mom's values, but you took it in and sighed it out. You were surprised by her speech, however, and you were reminded of the love that you so desperately. Your eyes watered a little. You reached over for a hug. She gladly embraced.
"It's been hard Karla. It really has been." You pulled away, with your classic smile. "But I'm not at rock bottom. I almost have my bachelors degree and by the time I get that, or maybe before that, I'm going to move to a nicer community and start my own business. And this business degree is going to really help. And if shit goes South.. then maybe I have to go completely up or move out of Chicago. Maybe to New York or something. But I got this. I just gotta push through, and all I ask is for your love and support. Cause you really like the only person I have."
Karla smiled. "Of course Em." She sighed. Then her energy refilled magically. "OKAY LETS GET READY BITCH!"
