Sevika went out the back of the tattoo parlor that connected to an alleyway. It's also where the garbage went. The stench was indescribable. It reeked so much that even the air quality was tainted with a discolored aroma of fog.
Sevika blew out smoke to help with the smell before she got on the phone to call Silco.
He promptly answered and ended up being the first to speak. "Sevika, I was just about to call you. How's the new mentor?"
Sevika took another puff before letting the air escape her mouth. "She's fine. Got a little attitude, but she'll do well."
You could feel Silco grin on the phone. "That's good. And how's Jinx?"
Sevika rolled her eyes. "The same brat as before."
Silco sighed. "Well I guess that means she alright.." He paused. "But enough of that. The "package" is in your desk drawer. You'll meet them by the new club they built on X street. One of the cops is a regular buyer. I was able to plant the idea of him having a more direct access of supply if he does whatever he has to do to keep them off our backs. Whether that's him coming alone or with his squad. Just expect all possibilities. They might even be peaking in the shadows themselves."
Sevika leaned on the door since that was the cleanest part to lean on. She looked up at the blazing sun as she continued to listen.
"The plan is you give it to him or whomever he lets get it. He has a pretty distinct tattoo. It's definitely done by an undercity tattoo artist. Don't fully know all his connections, but I'm working on it. He goes by the name of Kane Revland. Other than that, if things go well they go their separate ways. Your men will literally go separate directions leading them off course if they attempt to follow. Unfortunately if they are individually confronted or confronted during the dealing, we cannot directly kill the officers. If your men are killed, they're killed, but if you can get them away, then do so, but not at your risk. If they try to take them into custody, you might have to kill them. That's your last resort. They don't have your loyalty. They'd snitch like the others have tried. If they individually get taken down, we have bombs that can be set off in each location. There's even a bomb at the dealing location. But all should go smoothly if Kai is smart."
"Does that mean I have to watch over the brat with her contraptions?" She said noticeably annoyed with the tone of her voice.
"Yes." Was all he replied.
Sevika took a hit of her shrinking blunt. Jinx always fucked something up in Sevika's mind. Even the simplest tasks. Especially with her erratic behavior. And Sevika always became a babysitter.
Even though everyone knew she was undoubtedly loyal to Zaun and Silco, she's been going at this for years. She grew tired. Her work seemed to lack progress. The only thing she could say was that she has gained respect and power. But whether it's bombing, wars, invasions, attacks, drug deals, smuggling, dealing with the people who want to take Silco's place or question her loyalty, dealing with Jinx, and a load of other shit, she's still in the same predicament. At least she was getting action.
But she sometimes wondered what life would be like if none of this was going on. If the topsiders and piltover organization weren't kneeling on their throats. If she grew up well. If she dressed a little different. If she settled down. Her job. Her life. What would she be doing now.
She sighed. "What time Silco?"

"9:00pm?? You do know I work and do school right?" You exclaimed on the phone to one of your best friends since kindergarten.
"Sorry Ms. I Have a Hard and Busy Life like Everyone Else. I swear you pull that excuse all the time just to avoid anything related to fun." Your friend exclaimed back.
You groaned. You had this conversation with her so many times. "I DO NOT avoid fun. Drawing and staying in the comfort of my own home is fun to me." You started focusing on the line weight of your calligraphy sketch of Sevika's name on the tablet. You had been doodling this whole time when your friend abruptly called.
"Even your stuck up, topside, asshole of an ex was more fun than you." She replied knowing that would get under your skin.
"Karla, you know I would bitch slap you if you were in front of my face right now." Your tude beginning to show.
"And bitch we would be on the floor cat fighting!!"
You couldn't help but laugh. "Shut up Karla." You said amidst giggles.
Karla laughed at that. "But seriously Ember. Come on. Me and Teetee are going. We'll stick together like glue. The club is brand spanking new! No gun firings have occurred yet. And it will be fun! Plus I know a guy that knows a guy. So we can get a booth."
"I don't know Karla." You said still feeling uneasy about it.
Karla pleaded. "Por favorrrr! For your best friend basically since birth. Pleasee! We'll leave if you genuinely feel uncomfortable or if it gets sketchy, but you can't knock it until you try it."
You sighed giving in. "Fine Karla. You win this time."
"I always do. I'll pick you up from work, send me the addy and let me know when you officially get off. I got this cute dress that does not fit me. I don't have enough ass girl."
Y'all both laughed. "Okay girl, I'll see you soon. Byee."
She said bye back before you ended that call. You questioned if you agreed to go to your doom. You decided to shake it off since you already sealed your fate.
Tonight would be an experience.
