Graces POV
~~~
I woke up in the absolute best mood. It was finally the day of the ball. More importantly, it was the day Easton was going to propose. I rush out of bed and across the hallway to his room. I knock a few times before entering. I see Easton is still in bed, but Angelo is nowhere to be found.
"Where Angie?" I ask.
"Downstairs making breakfast for everyone," Easton groggily replies.
Great, I don't have to be quiet to keep his secret. I go over and jump on the bed. I keep jumping up and down to try and get him to wake up a little bit more.
"Today's the day East!"
"I know sweetheart, I know. I would have liked to be well rested for it," he complains.
"Oh well!"
He groans and rolls over to try and keep sleeping. I keep jumping but that doesn't seem to do anything after a while. I'm about to go recruit help when Brandon and Luci barge in.
"Big day today!" Brandon says brightly.
I go to the edge of the bed and jump at him. He catches me with ease.
"He won't wake up. Today is a once in a lifetime day and he won't wake up," I complain.
"I got this," Luci says before walking over to the side of the bed that East was currently dead asleep on.
She pats his shoulder a few times before leaning down and whispering in his ear. He's hauling his body up in a matter of seconds before heading to the bathroom.
"How did you do that?" I ask suspiciously.
"I have my ways bambina. Now come on, it's about time the rest of them get up."
Luci walks out of the door and Brandon puts me down. We follow her to Maddox's room. She knocks before just walking in.
"Wake up Maddie. It's Easton's big day."
Maddox groans, much like East did, before rolling over.
"Technically the party is for everyone's return. So it's Brandon, Milo, and Ang's day as well."
Luci rolls her eyes before ripping his sheets off.
"Lucia, come on! It's early!" he complains petulantly.
"You know it will take your family more than enough time to get ready, and you'll still probably be late. Time to move your ass," she says before turning and leaving his room.
Brandon and I try not to laugh as she repeats this pattern with everyone in the house. When the three of us get downstairs we are met with a giant breakfast and Angelo passed out on the couch. She makes no move to wake him up.
"Why does he get to sleep?" a voice asks from behind us.
I turn to see Easton who looks very unamused.
"He made this entire breakfast," I say.
"Fair enough."
Easton wakes Angelo up anyway. It was probably more gentle than anything Luci was going to do.
Angelo ends up looking rather energetic and ready for someone who was just knocked out on a couch. Him and East set the table for all of us and little by little my brothers and friends come downstairs. Sylas is first, which doesn't surprise anyone. He comes over to me and wraps me up in a hug. When he lets go he plops into his seat rather ungracefully. Why was everyone in this house incapable of waking up?
Milo and Mason came down next. They were actually joking with each other so clearly they were fine. Mia trails a little behind them. She has a bunch of curlers in her hair. She's also got little sticky stars all over her face. She told me about those one time. Pimple patches I think? Anyway, she's the only one who has any evidence that she's going to a party tonight.
