Brief reminder that Matteo and Carlos are the dons of Spain and Switzerland. Also I have sad news. I'm going to camp for five weeks and therefore cannot update. I think my plan is to just dump all of the chapter that I have for you. Just know that I haven't given up, I'm just off the grid. And I don't leave for five more days so expect a lot of chapters! That's all for now!
Happy reading:)

It's honestly impressive to me how committed these girls are to bothering me. Honestly at this point I probably would have given up.This is pretty much what's going through my head as I stare at my lunch that is now on the floor.
"Did we knock your tray? We are so sorry. Right Emma?"
"Oh my gosh yes! I feel so bad!"
The both fall into a laughing fit and some of the people watching join in as well. It wasn't even like they were being creative. They were just being annoying. I wouldn't usually give them any kind of reaction, but with everything going on I feel like I should be allowed to. I pull out one of the fifty dollar bills Maddox gave me this morning and hand it to Emma.
"Here, maybe you can buy some better insults," I say before turning and walking away.
I head out of the cafeteria and into the library. Once I find a table I settle down and spend the rest of my lunch period napping. You see, a few days ago Maddox flew Matteo and Carlos our to help him find our family. That's great. I'm glad he's finally utilizing our allies. I mean, they were allies for a reason right? The issue is that he also doesn't want to be away from me and Sy. So they set up home base in our house. They're up at all hours trying to figure everything out. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that they're looking and I'm doing everything I can to help, but I just can't get good sleep under these conditions. So I doze off at school. I mean I try to pay attention during the important classes but it was just so boring. Not to mention difficult.
Right before I was fully sleeping I hear the chair across from me move. I blink a few times and sit up. I then sent a glare to Katie, who had taken the chair.
"I thought I told you to leave me the hell alone," I say.
"You did. And I was going to, but Lillie said I should apologize."
"So you're only apologizing because Lillie told you to?"
"Yes. No!"
"You don't have to do everything she says y'know."
"I don't. Grace I'm trying to apologize."
"Yeah, seems real genuine."
"Just because Lillie suggested it doesn't mean it's not genuine," she says.
And to be honest, I can't really read her. Sure I was the one picking the fight, but if she only came here because of Lillie then how is that genuine. I mean even if she did apologize, it wasn't even her idea! Which means she wasn't going to in the first place.
"God, I don't know why you're making this so hard," she says.
"Because you weren't even going to fucking do it until someone else told you to!"
"Y'know what Grace? Maybe I'm not sorry! It was a joke and if you can't handle that, that's on you!"
"You shouldn't joke about things you know nothing about!"
"I know more than you think!"
I stop. I send my deadliest glare at her and she sends one right back.
"What could you possibly know?"
"Y'know what," she says, " I'm not doing this."
I watch her storm out of the library. Everyone seems to be annoyed at our volume but I couldn't care less. What did she mean? What was she even talking about? Why couldn't she just apologize like a regular person.
