I could barely contain my excitement. I stood behind the closed doors with Maddox and Luci, holding my basket of flower petals. None of us were allowed to see Easton or Angelo. They wanted to surprise everyone, their best man and maid of honor. Angelo had wanted Maddox as his best man, but he'd lost that argument. He asked Luci instead, which he was just as happy with. They had decided not to do the whole big wedding party. Easton hadn't wanted to pick between brothers, so he'd just had Maddox.
We all went quiet as the doors opened and it was time for us to walk the isle. Maddox and Luci walk ahead of me, arms linked. I wait until they make it all the way down the aisle to start walking. I throw the pretty rose petals all over the isle. When I make to the end I go to my seat in the front row. I was also tasked with the rings. They had been in the bottom of my basket on a little pillow.
A different song started playing as Easton walked down the isle. He was in a dark blue suit that was paired with white accents. A white shirt, white flowers in the pocket, and white cuffs. He looked happier than i'd ever seen him. After he made it to the end, Angelo came out. He was in an opposite suit from Easton. His suit was white and his accents were dark blue. We all watched as he met East at the alter.
The ceremony was short. I think they wanted to focus more on the celebration. I couldn't blame them. I wanted to celebrate with them too.
I mostly danced and talked with Mason, Mia, Emil, and Adrian. Sylas and Milo sat with us as well. They were mostly eating though. There was a large arrangement of food for us to enjoy, which we did.
The party lasted all night. I finally got a chance to talking to East and Angelo around the middle of the reception. I gave both of them the biggest hug I can muster.
"You're married!"
They laugh at my exclamation.
"Yes sweetheart," Easton says fondly.
"Does this mean I can finally visit Italy?" I ask seriously.
"I'm sure we can work this out. The principessa needs to see my home," Angelo says, just as seriously.
I smile and I feel an arm wrap around me.
"You are not stealing my baby and running away," Maddox says from behind me.
I tug on his arm, "It's not stealing! You can come too!"
"I'll think about it," he says as he lets go of me.
He wraps Easton up in a hug.
I drag Angelo to the dessert table with me to help me make a choice. It was a very important choice to make.
Eventually Easton comes to steal his husband away. I frown at him but it doesn't work like usual. Maybe he was becoming immune to me.
Mason comes to save me from my loneliness.
"Why are you frowning at the cake?" he asks.
"I'm not. The cake is the thing i'm not frowning at. Except I can't decide which one I want," I explain.
"Take them all then," he says.
"I can do that?"
He shrugs, "you're family of the groom. I don't think they would mind if you took an extra slice."
I smile as he piles three slices of cake onto my plate.
"There. Problem solved. Although I might steal a bite."
I narrow my eyes at him, "they're on my plate."
He dips a finger into the frosting of one of the slices.
