Arima timidly arrives at the park where I called her out to discuss something important.
"Um...Sorry for the wait." She says. This isn't good, I can't contain the excitement. I hope my face doesn't give it away. Why did Aqua call me here?
Once she enters the park, her face cramps after spotting a certain person.
"You're late. What took you so long?!" Ruby asked rudely.
"Huh? You can wait here forever!" She frowns and turns to me. "Why is your little sister here too? And who are these two?" She points her finger at the people behind me.
"Because Ruby's the one who needs to talk to you. And these are our friends." I answered.
".. Ahem... I'm Uesugi Futarou! The top student in the school! N-Nice to meet you!"
"Huh? Never heard of you."
"What?"
She leans closer to see the other one. "Ummm...Ichika-san?"
"Hahaha. I'm Yotsuba. Ichika's little sister. At your service!" She does a soldier salute.
She sighs. "I regret bracing myself," she murmured.
"Why did you have to yell?" I asked Fuutarou.
"I read that I have to make a strong first impression."
"Yeah, but bragging will have the opposite effect."
As we kept talking to each other, Ruby approaches Arima. "So umm..."
Arima goes tiredly to the closest bench and sits there, crossing her legs. "So, what is it? Unlike you I'm quite busy, so keep it under 20 seconds." She starts fidgeting with her phone.
"What a blatant attitude..." Ruby comes next to me. "Onii-chan, if I asked her to join us, that's like me saying that she's as cute enough for the role! That really gets on my nerves! "
"I can hear you..." She furrows her brows.
I answer to Ruby. "What's this pride you have? Don't you want to start your practices immediately? This is not the time to be stubborn."
"You're right. It's true." She braced herself before coming in my direction. "Arima Kana......-san. Would you like to become an idol with us?" She bows.
"An Idol? Where is this coming from?"
