After spending 10 solid minutes outside of their apartment, Fuutarou finally settled himself, and just when he was about to knock on the door someone appeared from behind, startling him.
"Uesugi-san? What are you doing here?" A girl asked with a bright smile. She was still clad in her school PA uniform, with a green ribbon perched atop her head, resembling bunny ears.
"Ahh..." Fuutarou stammered, trying to catch his breath. "Y-Yotsuba... It's just you. Don't scare me like that."
"Hahahaha. Uesugi-san, don't get so flustered," she chuckled. "Anyway, why are you outside my apartment?" She tilted her head curiously.
"I-I came for something really important." Fuutarou cleared his throat and continued, "I'm here to tutor you and your sisters. Your father hired me to make sure you all pass your exams."
Yotsuba froze, her eyes blinking rapidly. After a few seconds, she processed what he had said and moved closer to him, her eyes sparkling. "Is that true, Uesugi-san? I'm all for it! I'll show you my excellent grades in no time. Come on, let's get inside already!" She fished her key out of her pocket, grabbed his hand, and swung open the door.
"I'm home! And look who I brought!" Yotsuba announced excitedly as they entered. Everyone in the room turned to them and fell silent, their expressions a mixture of surprise and confusion. To the onlookers, it appeared as though the two of them had entered the apartment holding hands. A tense silence enveloped the room, and not a word was spoken until someone finally broke the ice.

"Hey! What are you doing with my sister?" Nino barked.
Yotsuba stared at her sister in confusion, while Fuutarou could feel chills running down his spine. Sensing another headache coming up, he leaned closer and whispered to Yotsuba. "Umm, hey Yotsuba, could you let go of my hand? We're already inside."
"Hmm? .....Oh! Sorry, my bad, hehehe." She let go of his hand and scratched the back of her head awkwardly, an almost imperceptible blush tingeing her cheeks.
Nino stood up from her seat and went over to scold her sister. Meanwhile, Ruby and Itsuki maintained baffled expressions as they remained seated. Miku, on the other hand, was looking down, her bangs covering her face, and her right hand, which held her chopsticks, trembling slightly. Noticing her discomfort, I decided to speak up in an attempt to disperse the tense atmosphere.
"Fuutarou. What took you so long?"
Fuutarou replied proudly, "There wasn't any toilet paper in the bathroom, so I had to wait until someone showed up. Thankfully, I had my notebooks with me, so I started studying in the meantime. I didn't waste any time in the end."..." Everyone fell into a momentary silence.
