EP 8 DewDunk?

Dunk didn't know what to expect when he agreed to be an artist under JAA entertainments. What he had now was definitely not what he imagined. He didn't imagine Joong would personally see through the development of his professional career, nor did he expected him to sing a duet with him and dance with him. They had been the talk of the town since the concert. It was an instant viral and Phuwin had told him that people are shipping him with Joong. He never really understood the craze of the BL fandom until now. Joong had even suggested that they film a vampire series together. The script "the Fledgling Vampire in My Care" landed on his lap. It was an interesting twist of a plot and he had always like the fantasy genre. It's just Joong that mind boggled him.  

He didn't know what to make of Joong Archen Aydin. Why would he pay so much attention to a rookie artist under JAA? He knew that there are people talking behind his back but it's not like he can control what the CEO does. Sometimes he didn't feel like his employee. With the concert rehearsal that they had, with the current series that they are filming... Sometimes he felt that they were more than friends. Even Dew noticed it. 

It was rare for Dew to be in the dressing room along with Dunk. Their schedule never collided. It was even rarer for it to be just the two of them without others around at JAA tower. 

"Have you gotten used to the celebrity life yet?" Dew asked Dunk jokingly. Dunk gave him a playful push. 

"Like I would ever get used to a crowd and people screaming my name. I don't know know how you, Phu and Pond do it. Sometimes they crowd into your personal space out of no where and that's scary." Dunk had not shared that with anyone but this was Dew. He shares everything with Dew. 

"It's best you tell Paaw Jack about it. Or you can directly tell Joong about it, he will know what to do. Speaking about Joong.... what is the nature of your relationship with him?" Dew couldn't help but ask. There had been too many talks about them. He wanted to look out for his best friend. 

"Don't everyone want to know? It's nothing. We're good friends at most. It's just confusing with all these shipping going on. I can understand how it works with Pond and Phu. They are the real deal but how do you deal with it at my stage?" He looked towards Dew. 

"Just be your professional self. All will be good. As long as you don't fall for him. He isn't as simple as he seems." Dew emphasized his last sentence. Dunk looked at Dew curiously. His soft spoken friend had never spoken against someone for the time he had known him.

"His relationship is messy and I don't want you to get hurt again." Dew explained softly. Dunk looked towards the ground as he was reminded of the past. Dew was there to pick up the pieces when he broke up with Perth. Not even Phuwin, his own brother knew the truth about what happened and why he shied away from people and downplay his eyes. That relationship was one hell of a messy one. He didn't know Saint was in the picture and he sure didn't expect the appearance of Chimon. The lesson he had gotten out of it was because of his eyes. Perth was captivated by his eyes but once he got to know Dunk as a person, the magic was lost. Dunk closed his eyes as he tried to shut those memories away. 

Dew leaned his forehead against his as he stroke his hair to comfort him. "Promise me, you will never give your heart away that easily ever again."

"Gu seng ya (I promise)" Dunk whispered as Dew wiped Dunk's tears away. 

He will never give his heart away ever again.

Joong had saw the intimate moment between Dew and Dunk as he walked into the dressing room. Gene had informed him that they were childhood friends but somehow it seems more than that. Dew had given Dunk a hug when he saw Joong. There was an intense stare down between Dew and Joong before Dew let go and gave Dunk a pat on the shoulder before he left. Dunk may or may not see Dew more than a friend but he can't say the same for Dew. He definitely had something for Dunk. 

He needed to step up his game.

A/N: another 2 EPs today. 

🤣🤣🤣I couldn't think of what real vampire series that Joong and Dunk should act in so I chose one of the series I wrote The Fledgling Vampire in My Care🤣🤣🤣what do you think?  

Have to say I was a bit conflicted with this EP, at first I thought of having Ohm as Dunk's ex and he was stuck between Nanon and Leng. I only know of Ohm and Perth who switched partner (minus Joong, Neo really doesn't fit at all🤣🤣) but I wondered if it was too sensitive a topic... then I went on and think between Ohm and Perth who actually be better suited to Dunk in this series... 🤔🤔Maybe Perth... so that's how I end up with Perth. If I ever type Ohm instead of Perth in the following EPs... You know what happened😅😅 I might get confused since I cast Ohm to begin with. Hopefully I won't but then I won't know if I'm rushing. 

I used the ghostship DewDunk since it fitted with the Onitsuka Tiger photoshoot. But I wonder... who actually supports this ghostship?😅😅
