Dunk was dreaming again. He was pleading desperately to Phuwin to just run. He was glad when he listened to him. He crawled his way to the back of the nearby bushes, hoping to hide and avoid the inevitable. He was shocked to see another boy dressed exactly like him. He had put a hand on his mouth, preventing him from making a sound. He had the index finger of his other hand on his lips, making sure he understood that he shouldn't make a sound. They heard the rushing sound of many footsteps on the other side of the bush. They couldn't help but hold their breath, as adrenaline took hold. They didn't know if it would help. But in the mind of a child, it did. They heard the sound of the footsteps getting softer and softer. They could finally take a deep breath in relief when only the sounds of the crickets greeted them.
"We're safe now. " the other boy said.
"I need to find my brother." Dunk winced when he stood up. It was undeniable that he twisted his ankle when he tripped on the rock.
"I'll help you. My name is Dew." he said casually as he slung his arm over his shoulder, acting as his crutch.
"I'm Dunk." He smiled at Dew as they went to hunt for Phuwin.
That was how he met his best friend. He was forever grateful that he met him that night. He owed him his life. He didn't know what he would have done without him. Dunk had been dependent on Dew since the moment they've met.

Joong didn't know what to make of Dunk's Uncle- Apo and his husband, Mile. They looked... posh to say the least. If anyone were to ask Joong what he really thought about them, he would say they looked like characters that walked straight out of a mafia movie.
Dunk rushed forward and hugged Apo. He couldn't stop the tears from coming, he would blame the damn hormones but he missed his uncle. Apo wiped his tears away before giving him another tight hug. Dunk gave Mile a hug as well, while Mile patted Dunk's back with a smile. Apo urged Dunk to sit as he asked how far along was he.
"18 weeks" Dunk beamed as he rubbed his belly. It was showing a little more now. Apo wore a soft smile at Dunk's news. Dunk then introduced Joong to Apo and Mile. They had smiled at him politely but it didn't reach their eyes. They seemed to be be scanning him.
"Joong, there is no polite way of putting this without making it sound awkward. I think it would be in Dunk's best interest that he stays with us while he is with child. I would more than welcome you to stay with us. I wouldn't want my nephew to miss his partner." Apo started out. Joong was stunned by what he said.
"Why should we need to move? We've been doing fine and I can more than provide for Dunk!" Joong had tried to be polite since he was Dunk's uncle but he didn't understand why they were intruding into their lives. Dunk had tried to calm him down but he felt insulted. He couldn't understand their distrust towards him as if he was helpless in protecting Dunk. They have been doing well so far, so he didn't understand what they are getting at. It was uncalled for.
It was the ringing of his phone that broke him out of rage. He was stunned at what Gene was telling him in rapid speed. Someone broke into JAA tower. They didn't steal anything but Dunk's files were missing. Phuwin and Pond had asked for an emergency leave when they found out their apartment was broken into after coming back from a shoot. It was the same apartment that Dunk used to stay. He eyed Apo and Mile while he took in the news. He hung up the call with a sigh. He didn't know what was going on but the danger that was lurking beneath was deeper than he could comprehend. Mile and Apo seemed to know but he wasn't sure if they were willing to disclose. He looked at Dunk's worried face. He couldn't possibly allow Dunk to be in danger. He caressed his cheek to comfort him, letting him know that he was fine. He didn't want to stress Dunk out, not in the condition that he was in.
"Fine, we'll move." Joong finally relented. Dunk beamed as he hugged Joong. Joong stroked his hair as he embraced him. Mile and Apo looked towards them with relief on their face. They truly hope that they were able to protect Dunk until he safely gives birth.
