Dunk was frustrated. He had been working on the Golden Retriever project for ages. There had been issue at every turn. It was as if someone was purposefully sabotaging it. He squinted his eyes as he run through his codes once again.
Phuwin had opened the door and walked into his spaceship like room unannounced. It had never bothered Dunk. They were twins after all, so they were naturally closer than most siblings. All they had were each other. It had always been that way since young. He flopped onto his bed with a sigh.
"Done with the shooting?" Dunk asked without turning away from his work.
"Yea, longest shoot ever. The weather was testing us at every turn. Thanks for covering me at the photoshoot." Dunk waved it off. Phuwin's phone rang before he could continue their conversation.
"Khun Gene. Yes, yes. I apologize on my brother's behalf. He doesn't pick up calls from numbers he don't recognize. Yes, yes, I'll get him to read your email. Khoorp khun khup (thank you)." Dunk was too engrossed in his work to realize that they were talking about him.
"Dunk! Why didn't you tell me you saw Joong Archen Aydin during the photoshoot?" Phuwin exclaimed.
"Who? I didn't notice anyone important there. I just went to the shoot like you told me to. I followed Dew's lead so I didn't embarrass you. What did I do this round?" Dunk was still looking at his screen when he answered.
There it was! He finally found the bug in the system. Dunk's fingers were flying through the keyboard. It was when Dunk finally stopped typing that Phuwin turn his chair around.
"Joong Archen Aydin, the CEO of JAA entertainments, saw you at the shoot! You got scouted! He's giving you an offer. Do you know how hard it is to get into JAA?" Dunk was looking at Phuwin in confusion.
"You know this is not my kind of gig." Phuwin sighed. Dunk had always been shy of his looks. People had looked at the twins oddly due to the colour of their eyes. That honey light brown eyes that could attract people from miles away once they caught hold of it. While Phuwin embraced his look, Dunk had shied away from it. He wanted to be known for his brains and not the so called beauty by people's standards. He got into voice acting because of Phuwin. Phuwin wanted to focus more on filming with his partner Pond, so he introduced Dunk to the producers. They couldn't get enough of him when they saw Dunk's potential. Dunk's passion for gaming and anime made him agree to it without a thought. But to be a celebrity was a whole different story all together. Phuwin had tried persuading Dunk with his puppy eyes . He knew that Dunk always had a weakness for it.
"M(a)i ao. Gu mei chaawp. kon yuk. (I don't wanna , I don't like it, there's too many people)" Dunk whined. Phuwin had nearly forgotten that his brother was a homebody through and through. He's fine working behind the scenes like a voice actor but to be thrusted in front of cameras and fans. He cringed.
He knew he had a small following from his voice acting career but he really didn't expect any fans to be there during the photoshoot. He had tolerated the crowd and screaming during the photoshoot because of his brother. He was lucky that Dew was there with him. He wouldn't have been able to do it otherwise.
"I'll tell Khun Gene then" Phuwin sighed, trust his brother to throw away such a golden opportunity but he knew how stubborn Dunk can be. When Dunk hugged him in gratitude, he could only hug back without a grumble. He loved his twin more than anything.

When Joong had asked for a clip of Dunk's voice acting, he didn't expect Gene to give him a library of it. He had never been that interested in gaming, he had occasionally watched anime when he was younger but there was something about his voice that attracted him. He couldn't stop. When he came upon an audio book with Dunk's voice, he had listened to it and promptly fell asleep. It had been years since he was able to sleep this peacefully. He had suffered through insomnia for years.
He can imagine what a following Dunk could get with that look and that voice. A singing career was definitely in the books. Maybe more audio books at it as well. There's no question that he should model. There's so many possibilities when it came to Dunk. But more than building Dunk's professional career, he really wanted to know him personally. There's just no explanation as to why he was attracted to him, almost borderline obsession if he were to admit.
"Dunk Natachai Tangsakyuen, what are you doing to me?" Joong whispered.

A/N: Running on one EP for these 2 days... m not that fully recovered yet😅😅 yes, Dunk is an introvert in this series🤣🤣 but I think he is more of an ambivert in real life than an introvert. It really depends on his mood. But definitely more extroverted than he is in this series🤣🤣
I sort of taken a part out of hidden agenda where Joke listens to Zo's podcast to sleep. I can't help but think that Dunk would make a good voice actor so here it is.
This series may have a similar flair to I'm destined to love you at the beginning but do you notice the difference? Hopefully, it'll be more obvious as the EP goes.
What do you think of Dunk and Phuwin being twins in this series? unfortunately we're missing Gemini here...
Preparing ourselves for Luna and White in Summer Night🤭🤭
oh yea... why did I write m(a)i ao. that is the more formal way of saying it. mai ao (don't want) but casually they would say mi ao the (a) goes silent. Hope that clears everything.
