Joong was a ghost of who he was the following week. Dunk would make sure that he showers and that he eats. He hardly resembled the confident Joong Archen Aydin that he met. Dunk would hug him to bed before he leaves, whispering words of assurance- that he'll be okay, that he's there for him. On his last night, he gave him a kiss to his forehead and said goodbye. But Joong was so deep in his own world, he didn't know that Dunk was gone.

Joong had a rude awakening when Gene, his PA and long time friend, opened the curtains without much of a warning the next day.
"Dtern, dtern, dtern! dtern leow (wake up)!! Head to the shower, I have your breakfast ready." Joong shuffled to the bathroom without much of a thought. He shuffled automatically to the dining table and spooned the congee.
"Why are you here? Where's Dunk?" He asked when it struck him that it was Gene that woke him up and not Dunk.
"Why should Dunk be here?" Gene eyed him oddly.
"Why shouldn't he be here?" Joong stared back as Gene who looked at him owlishly.
"Did you forget? Yesterday was the last day of his contract. But he was kind enough to come in this morning and dropped this congee and instructions to take care of you. oh yea, here's a letter for you."
Joong,
Thank you for being part of my life for the past 6 months. You definitely are the best CEO for JAA. You have been my best onscreen partner, best singing partner and the best of friends. I could not ask for more. Thank you for being my safe zone. You had coloured my world anew. You showed me that there is something bigger for me out there . That I can leave my shell if I wanted to.
I hope that you will do the same. I hope that you will stop living in the past because you have so much more going for you. You are no longer that young lonely artist that needed her. You are now the CEO of JAA entertainments. You have come far. I hope that you'll learn to remember that. I wish you well. I hope that Gene will take good care of you. It would be better if you learn to take better care of yourself.

Dunk
Joong's hands were shaking after reading the letter. His heart ran cold. It was as if Dunk was never coming back. He thought he was a constant in his life, he didn't expect him to leave.
"You are lucky the company is still alive while you vegetate like this. If it wasn't for Dunk, I don't know how JAA would have survived. Everyone was in a panic but out he came with a system- so organized and structured. Who knew that he knows how to manage a company. Then I found out he is actually the elusive founder of Morro robotics that everyone had a hard time figuring out. He actually started that company with two of his friends- Pointer and Figo. But he never does public appearance as usual, so no one knew." Gene rambled while he washed his bowl.
"Where is he?" Joong whispered.
"He was in the office saying goodbye when I last saw him." Joong rushed to JAA tower.
He couldn't find him anywhere. He tried to look for Pond and Phuwin but they were out for a shoot. When he came across Boom, their fellow cast member from "the Fledgling Vampire in my care", he told him that he just left an hour ago. When Joong was about to rush out the front door of JAA tower, Kapook stopped him.
"There you are, I have been trying to look for you. Some guy called Dunk had the security from your apartment and your company stop me from looking for you. You should get rid of him." Kapook whined in his arms. Joong didn't know Dunk had been doing so much for him quietly. First the company then safe guarding him from Kapook.
He started to wonder what he saw in her. Why did he want to keep her in his life when she had brought nothing but misery and heartache to him? She had repeatedly cheated on him. Why was he torturing himself for nothing? Was it just because he was trying to hold onto the memory of the past?
When did he lose sight of what was important to him?
When did he lose sight of Dunk?
"No, I should get rid of you. We ended two years ago. And if we hadn't been clear then, we should be clear now. We are over. I want you out of my life!" He flings his arm, losing her hold as he rushed to find Dunk.
I don't need the sun to shine on me, Dunk. I just need you, my sunshine.

Does this fulfill the theme of having 2 hot CEOs? 🤣🤣 sorry for the puuean who requested for that. This is all I can come up with. 😅😅The imaginative mind just couldn't....khoor tord na kha (sorry) . I don't think it kinda make sense in the real world for Dunk to help Joong out in his company but this is fiction. And yes, Joong finally woke up. 😅😅 let's see how it goes.
