"Toman's gonna fight Moebius soon. and something bads gonna happen to Draken,"as Takemichi explained his reasoning for looking so stressed, your eyes widened, confusion written all over your face.
"what's Moebius?" was your first question, and he deadpanned at it. "a rival gang."
you nodded in understanding, going onto the other questions. "why are we fighting them?"
"because Pah-chin was arrested because of them," you nodded again, but confusion was still overriding any concerns you had.
"okay, but how do you know they're gonna start a fight? and how do you know something will happen to Draken?"
Takeimichi's eyes widened, and it looked as if he had given away something he wasn't supposed to.
you raised an eyebrow, giving him a pointed look. he groaned, running a hand over his face before continuing.
"i've just.. got a bad feeling, y'know? Draken was involved a lot in the first fight with Moebius,"
it seemed like a lie. but, you didn't question further, letting out a hum of acknowledgment.
"so.. got any ideas when this is gonna happen?"
Takemichi shook his head, looking defeated.
he then looked back to you, a glint of determination in his eyes. "just, help me keep on eye on them, will you?"
you laughed softly, shoving your hands in your pants pockets. "i feel like even just Draken is a lot stronger than us, how do you expect us to protect him?"
"i dunno! just, help me out here!" he retorted, exasperated.
you held your hands up in front of you, dropping the smile. "alright, i will. just keep me updated,"
he smiled, his demeanour relaxing a little.
as the worries of the conversation began to fade, the two of you walked into the school, and parted ways to go to your respected classes.
as you walked into the classroom, only a few minutes before the bell rang, you sat down at your desk, resting your arms and head on the table.
your first kickboxing lesson was fun, although the exhaustion was catching up to you.
Himari soon entered the class as well, and saw you close to falling asleep.
she sat down in her desk that was beside yours, kicking your foot gently.
turning your head, you saw her looking in your direction with a small smile.
"tired?" she asked mockingly.
"shut up." you shot back, getting a laugh from her in return.
before you could talk more, the teacher walked in, starting class. it was so boring you were almost lulled to sleep once again.
instead of sleeping, you pulled out your phone under your desk, pulling up the messages app.
Vera
come save me.
this class sucks.Itsuki
put your phone away and pay attention.you sighed at the message, expecting no less from your 'honorary brother'.
not content with the answer, though, you texted one other person.
Vera

yeah. what's up?Vera
wanna skip?a few minutes passed, and you thought he wouldn't answer anymore. until your phone buzzed again.
