"calm down, Takemichi! no one's gonna catch us!" the slightly younger boy panicked behind you as you continued spray-painting an alley wall, while Chifuyu attempted tricks on your skateboard.he was watching intently at every spot of paint laid down, beginning to see the start of a skull take shape.
Chifuyu, who was a few steps away farther into the alley, narrowly landed an olley. you turned to him, pausing the graffiti.
"i didn't know you could do any tricks," you commented with a grin, and he returned the gesture with one of his own.
"i don't know a lot, but my friends showed me a few." you nodded, and turned back to the wall.
the skull you were painting was fully outlined now, with some flowers and vines hanging around it as well as shading.
so far, no one had caught you.
which was a rare occurrence.
Takemichi stayed standing at the opening of the alley, turning his head from left to right, checking for anyone who could see what you were doing.
sighing, you walked up to him a flicked the back of his head. he nearly jumped out of his skin, facing you with wide eyes.
giggling, you pushed his shoulder. "seriously, chill out." Chifuyu stifled his laughter at the sight of the dishevelled boy, and you finished up the illegal mural.
after a few more minutes, you finished, stepping back to see the full picture.
Chifuyu and Takemichi stopped what they were doing and stood on either side of you, admiring the work.
"nice job," Chifuyu complimented, and you glanced at him in appreciation. "thanks!" Takemichi hummed words of awe, while you began to pack up the spray paints.
slinging the backpack onto your shoulder with the contents clanging together inside, you kicked the skateboard up and rested it under your arm.
"come on, let's get going." Takemichi agreed almost too quickly, his fear of getting caught taking over.
a few days had passed since you and Keisuke went to the small beach. the memory lingered in your mind, a small smile gracing your features.
the weather was finally getting warmer, summer coming in full swing.
you wondered if that would be the last rain of the season.
zoning out in thought, you and Chifuyu followed Takemichi, heading towards a skatepark that was nearby.
a familiar voice was heard speaking lazily through the park, and you soon saw Mikey sitting on the grass haggling a few of the skaters.
Draken was seated beside him, laid back in the grass with his arms over his eyes to sheild them from the dull sun rays.
Chifuyu noticed them as well, the three of you heading over to them and sitting down to form a small circle out of the group.
"hey strangers," Draken nodded in acknowledgement as Mikey spoke those words, and you smiled and took a seat beside them.
with them on your right, Takemichi and Chifuyu sat on your left.
watching a few of the people skateboarding, you noticed Takemichi keeping his eyes trained on someone watching from the sidelines as well.
you lightly nudged his shoulder with an elbow, causing him to jump and pry his eyes off of the boy, onto you.
"who is that?" you asked, nodding towards the tall black-haired boy with a cigarette in his mouth.
