Dr. Marc Alvaro C. Ciervo
"Alvie! Wait!"
I fought my own sobs as the cold rain poured on me. My hands were tightly gripping on the two dufflebag handles as my feet were moving towards my SUV, but before I could even open the door, I felt her hand on my elbow.
"No, wait—"
"Don't touch me!" Mariin kong sabi dahilan upang bawiin niya ang kanyang kamay. The rain water was soaking her night gown, her shoulder-length hair dripping.
"Out of all the men in the world, why did it have to be him!" I asked her in disbelief, my tears mixing with the rain. I didn't care about the perfect landscape surrounding us or how beautiful she looked despite the mascara running down her smooth cheeks.
"I didn't love him! I love you!" Sagot niya habang namumula ang kanyang mga mata dahil sa nagbabadyang mga luha.
I scoffed.
"Is this what you do to people that you love, Emilia? Do you hurt them how you hurt me?" My voice croaked.
Napalunok siya.
"Look. Get inside, we'll figure this out, Alvie—"
"Don't call me that." I replied with a tone full of venom. "I am done being your doormat, Emilia. I don't even want to see you again or have anything to do with you."
Her beautiful face hardened. Those ocean eyes that I adore gleamed with all the lies and deception.
"You can't leave me, Alvie. You know you can't."
"Watch me."
"End this and I will take the estate and your project. Don't dare me."
My jaw clenched, but still I threw the bags in the backseat of my car and made my way to the driver's seat.

Dra. Amelia Joan De Sario
"Nurse Pau," I tugged at the sleeve of her scrubs like a little kid while I stand behind her. Hindi siya sa akin lumingon at nagpatuloy lang sa pagta-type. "Nurse Pauline Grace Molina Lopez—"
"Ano?" She shut her laptop and finally glanced at me. Her eyes were squinted as though she was sceptical of my presence here in the Nurses' station. She could be mad but I won't really feel like she's mad because of her adorable face. Her small round face makes her look young to the point na napagkakamalan siyang teenager, most of the time.
