029 - Confrontation

TAEHYUNG's front hair was blown away by the wind and it revealed his dark orbs staring at someone in front of him. Someone who he intentionally 'kidnapped' using lunch break as an opportunity. Someone who made him lie to his friends saying he was going to the washroom yet here he was standing face to face with his girlfriend's supposed to be so called friend.

She was staring down at the boring dried leaves. They were alone near the trees at the field. Taehyung came up to her saying they have to talk with his serious voice then lead her here where no one was around. As time ticking, her anxiety grew waiting Taehyung to start scolding her or maybe use some of his Taekwondo tricks on her. She thought that far because that was what she believed Taehyung would do to protect Yewon.

"Why did you do that?" he sternly asked. Referring to the image she sent him and the image-turned-to-poster she sent Hoseok.

Taehyung stares at her while waiting for her response. She was still staring down which from his observation, rather than feeling scared, she was ashamed of herself.

"Don't you dare say sorry to me. I am not the one who you should apologize to." he warned in advance.

'I know . . . ' Runa felt worse than before.

"I wasn't in the right mind when I decided to do that. Yet I admit, that I was fully aware of the consequences."

Still, "Why?"

"Because it was just so unfair!" tears swell in her eyes as she recalled her happy moments when she confessed to Jimin and he accepted it. She thought their feelings were mutual until Jimin paid more attention to Yewon's reaction to them being together rather than herself.

"I confessed to him and he became my boyfriend, but why did I think he was just using me?"

Uknowingly, this sentence hit deep into his heart.

"Jimin actually loves my friend. And he admitted it himself the other day the reason he dated me was to make Yewon jealous!"

"He told you himself?" Taehyung was shocked. Has Jimin lost his mind? To stir up Runa's emotions? And during exam week at that?

"I heard him tell Yewon that." Runa gasped and immediately looked at Taehyung after her tongue slipped.

'So that's what they were talking about.' Taehyung finally understood. Jimin has confessed to Yewon.

"He . . . he wanted to make her jealous, but I was the one who got jealous." Runa bit her lower lips. This was the main reason why . . .

"You know, last night, I intended to print the poster and post it on every school's bulletin board." she spilled her main goal that caused Taehyung restlessness after she left him on read yesterday.

Taehyung felt goosebumps all over his body. He cannot believe how heartbroken she was that made her think of taking revenge on her boyfriend by betraying her own friend. Although, thankfully, none of the intended nightmares happened.

"But Yewon is not at fault. . ." Taehyung hoped Runa would not hate Yewon for what Jimin did to her. Better yet if they-Runa and Jimin-can resolve their conflict in a good manner.

"I know . . . That's why I feel so much worse." Runa felt her tears threatening to flow out again, the more she imagined what could have happened if she or Hoseok spread the poster.

Seeing Hoseok who received the tip from her didn't do anything, made her feel ashamed because even the love gossip journalist was faithful to his friend so why couldn't she?
