not strong enough~ walker scobell

as i walked into the school i finally noticed how much bigger it was then my last school. the ceilings where high in the center with three floors of classes on either side with windows looking out into the main concourse

"don't be nervous you'll find your way around in no time" xóchitl said to me as i looked around

"easy for you to say i mean my last school was one floor and much smaller and this is just... this" i replied.

"well come on ill take you to your first class it starts soon" xóchitl said as she started up the stairs.

once we made it up the stairs xóchitl asked me "wait what teacher do you have"

"oh ummmm i have mrs. greenwood" i responded pulling up my schedule on my phone

"oh she's the best i had her freshman year and she was so funny plus she's an easy grader" xóchitl said

"oh well thats good" i said putting my phone back into my pocket.

"here we are a352" xóchitl said once we finally reached the room.

"ok thanks for taking me up here" i responded.

"my class is just down there ok ill meet you at the end of the hallway after class got it" xóchitl asked

"yup see ya then" i said walking into class

the class was full of older students so i wasn't sure if i was in the right place. "um excuse me is this AP comp?" i asked the teacher

"yes it is um you must be cameron lewis right?" she asked

"thats me but um is this a class for senior or something because i feel like im the youngest person here" i asked back

"well normally it is offered to senior who want a boost before graduation but it said on your transcript that you where taking honors writing courses in your old school and the other where filled so we placed you here." she responded

" oh ok um where should i sit" i asked

"um right over there" she said pointing to the seat in the front row next to another empty seat. i started to walk over when she added

"there is actually another sophomore in this class named walker scobell and he sits right over there also so you two could get aquatinted" she said

"oh ok thank you" i said walking over to the seat and sitting down.

to my left was walker's empty chair and to my right was a girl with curly hair and cute top on. "i love your top where you get it" i asked her. 

"oh thank you i got it from american eagle" she said

"im sorry are you new here i just have never seen you around before" she added

"oh yea its my first day im cameron" i responded

"im dior and oh my god how has it been" she asked

"not bad so far i mean this school is much bigger than my last but its been good" i replied

"well i was new last year and it was not fun but now i can help you if you need it" she said

"oh my god thank you so much" i said smiling.

"hello class" mrs greenwood said at the front of the room.

"today we have a new student cameron and i hope you all will make her feel welcome" she said pointing at me.

"hello" i said waiting for this moment to be over.

"any ways lets get started" she said uncapping a dry erase marker
