Crimson Eyes

Chapter 25

"Surprise!"

I stared dumbfounded at the three teenagers in front of me. "W-what?" 

I had found them as soon as I left the school's front doors, my new group of friends almost leaving me behind before noticing that I'd stopped moving. 

"O-M-G, is that Uraraka?" Ashido asked in shock as she followed my line of sight and saw that brunette girl standing next to Shinsou and Todoroki. 

I didn't answer, just took off at a full sprint and threw myself at Uraraka, who laughed loudly when I collided with her. "Missed you too, Izuku!" 

I pulled away from her, looking between the two boys. "How- When- What?" 

Shinsou scoffed, pulling me into a hug of his own. "Ura's parents and mine, think we're at some spa resort on Todoroki's dime, and Todoroki's dad thinks he's at a college fair." 

Once I was released from the purple haired boy's grip, I was jumping at Todoroki with a wild laugh. "It was your idea, wasn't it?" I asked him, looking up. 

"Of course it was," he said like it was obvious. "You think these two could have come up with that plan?" He nodded towards our other two friends. 

"Hi!" Ashido greeted. "I'm Mina Ashido, we met over the phone. Damn, you're eyes are gorgeous." I looked behind me and saw that Uraraka was the one she was introducing herself to. My brunette best friend was a blushing mess. 

I snorted, lightly pushing her head to knock her out of it. "All bark, no bite." 

"Shut it, Izu," Uraraka hissed, turning from me to smile at the pretty girl in front of her. 

"Haven't been here five minutes, and you two are already fighting," Shinsou pointed out with a laugh. 

"You guys are Mido's friends from back home, right?" Kaminari asked, making me finally remember I had to introduce everyone still. 

"Oh shit," I mumbled, taking a step back from my old friend group. "Yeah, they are. Uraraka, Shinsou, Todoroki, meet my newly acquired band of misfits. Literally, they're in a band," I mock whispered the last sentence to them. 

"Seriously?" Todoroki asked, almost sounding bored with the information. He wasn't, he was just distracted doing a once over of all of them. 

I nodded and then pointed to my new friends in turn. "Ashido, Kaminari, Sero, Kirishima, and Bakugou." I almost had to smack Katsuki to get him to stop glaring at Shinsou, but I could see the smug smile on the purple haired boy and let it slide. Those two were going to be problematic and probably make me want to rip my own hair out by the end of this little visit.  

"Where're you guys staying?" I asked Todoroki, knowing he's the one that would have been in charge of planning literally everything. 

"A hotel in the city, like a twenty minute drive," he explained. 

Suddenly, Ashido clapped her hands wildly,  drawing all eyes to her. "They should come with us to Bakugou's!" 

"Stop inviting people to my house, goddamn it!" Katsuki yelled towards her. 

"Is that a no, then?" I asked him with a raised brow. 

The blond and I had a mini staring contest, but eventually he gave up. "Fine! More fucking freaks watching us practice, fantastic," he grumbled. "But only if they can keep up." Then he was heading to the parking lot. 

"Todoroki," I called behind my shoulder as the whole group started to migrate. "You should definitely drive." 

"Already planning on it, Midoriya."
