I CHANGED THE TITLE NO ONE PANIC ITLL MAKE SENSE ONCE I RELEASE THE SEQUEL I PROMISE!
Everyone was gathered in the garage later that night, my new and old friends. We were supposed to be talking strategies or something like that. I had to tell them everything, the texts, the threats, calling the cops, and finally the break in.
"That means Midoriya is the best bait to use," Todoroki said into the silence that followed my retelling.
He was sat on top of Sero's amp, while the resident stoner was criss crossed on the floor a few feet in front of the couch with Kaminari next to him. Shinsou was sitting a healthy foot away from them. Ashido and Uraraka were cuddling at one end of the couch, while Katsuki and Eijirou sat at the other, me sitting across both of their laps.
"He's not wrong," Shinsou reluctantly agreed, running a hand through his hair.
I relaxed a little more into Eijirou's chest. "Oh, thank god," I said with relief, happy to be the one whose life was at risk, instead of theirs.
"Shut up," Katsuki snapped, but I couldn't tell which one of us he'd been talking to. "We're not using him as bait." He said it with an air of finality, implying that it wasn't up for debate.
Shinsou scowled at him. "I don't like it either, but think about it-"
Eijirou was quick to cut him off, as expected. "I'd rather not, thanks."
The purpled haired teen didn't give a fuck, continuing on. "Think about it. Shigaraki doesn't know that Dabi wants him dead now. All Izuku has to do is send him a text, saying to meet at Dabi's club to talk about him joining up. We ambush him there, kill the motherfucker, and let Dabi handle the clean up."
I stayed quiet, waiting to see how it all played out.
Uraraka raised her hand and pointed at him. "I know we're mad at him right now, but my boy has a point!"
"I second that," Ashido said a little sheepishly.
"Third!" Kaminari shouted, speaking for the first time since arriving. He was apparently awkward in heavy matters.
"Except," Eijirou cut in. His teeth were clench and he seemed seconds away from snapping. "For the fact that Shigaraki won't believe Iz just randomly decided to take his side."
Shinsou shrugged off the concern, apparently already having a solution. "Izuku's a good actor. We fake some drama, fake a mental breakdown, and then schedule the meeting. It'll take a week, max, to convince him."
Katsuki leveled him with a glare. "He's not fucking doing it."
Shinsou tilted his head, his eyes flashing to mine. "How about we let him decide?"
Everyone in the room turned to me. My face started to heat up from the sudden attention, but I willed my blush to stay away. I looked between my two boyfriends, both wore expressions that pleaded for me to say no.
"I'm doing it," I said resolutely.
Eijirou immediately shook his head. "No fucking way."
"I love you guys," I said, grabbing each of their hands while I spoke. "I love that you want to do this for me, but it's my mess. This is something I have to deal with, not you two."
"We're not gonna let you do this," Katsuki replied firmly. There was a hard set to his jaw, his crimson eyes blazing with anger.
Shinsou heaved a tired sigh from the other side of the circle. "Then you three fight and the drama becomes real. Not solving much there."
