Let it be known that I didn't want to leave you all on that cliffhanger, but it was 4:30 am when I uploaded the last chapter. I woke up at 5:30 yesterday. I had been up for twenty three hours. I needed sleep, dudes.

"Shinsou!" I shouted as the club dissolved into chaos at the gunshots. Everyone was scrambling toward the door, pushing and shoving other drunk clubgoers in an effort to get out.

While everyone was heading for the entrance, Todoroki and I pushed our way through the crowd, towards the back. I was panting from the effort of elbowing my way through, and I swear to god, Todoroki actually threw a punch to get past. Soon he was following me down the hall at a sprint.

I threw the door open and we both tried to squeeze through the opening at the same time. It didn't work the best, but we stumbled onto the scene regardless. The first thing I noticed was Shinsou standing in the center of the room, his arms crossed and watching us both with an amused smile. "I don't know if I should be touched by your concern or offended you thought I couldn't handle it," he slyly remarked.

My eyes flashed to the couch, Shigaraki's slumped-over figure catching my attention. In the dim lightening, I could barely see the blood trailing from his chest, blending into his black hoodie. "You killed him," I stated the obvious, out of breath and tense. My eyes drifted back to Shinsou. "You're okay."

"I don't break pinky promises, Iz."

I was so happy I could cry. Well, I did cry. There was no other way I could react, all the fear I'd felt for the past two years officially washed away. Shigaraki was dead and everyone I loved was finally safe. I threw myself at Shinsou without a second thought, clinging to him tightly as it fully sank in. "You scared the shit out of me," I breathed, my shoulders shaking slightly as more tears escaped. "What the hell happened to the music?"

Shinsou chuckled, his arms wrapped around me the second I'd entered his space. "Dumb fuck thought I wouldn't shoot if there was nothing to cover the noise."

"He knew our plan?" Todoroki asked from behind us, reminding me that he was still there. I'd be so relieved to see Shinsou alive, I'd forgotten he'd followed me. I released the purpled-haired teen slowly, taking a step back.

I could tell Shinsou wasn't happy with my actions, but he didn't comment on it. "He suspected, but was too fucking stupid to actually save himself," he replied with a shrug.

"Iz?!"

"Izuku!"

Muffled shouting came from outside, footsteps following after. Eijirou, Katsuki, Ashido, Uraraka, Sero, and Kaminari all came barreling into the room a few seconds later. As soon as two sets of crimson eyes found me, I was engulfed in another hug, four arms wrapping around me. I was finally able to breathe freely again, wrapping one of my arms around each of the boys. "He's dead," I sobbed into one of their shoulders, I wasn't even sure whose.

"We have to get out of here before the cops show up." I recognized Sero's voice off to my right. He must have gone straight for Todoroki. Now that the major threat was taken care of, I could finally focus on how adorable they were.

"What happens when the cops find him?" Ashido asked in a quiet voice. I ran a hand over my face, trying to dry away the tears there as I stepped back slightly. I didn't get far, being pulled right back in. I resigned myself to my fate and just looked over my shoulder at her. Her distant eyes were locked onto the dead body.

"Dabi will talk his way out of it," Todoroki answered for me. "He always does."

I took a long inhale, trying to steady myself. "Can we go home now?" I asked them all in a weak voice.
