Thanks to HorseLoverFromPoland. Reading your request really made my day.
Crash looked up from his paper, which he had been reading and rereading until all the Octonauts had started to grow impatient. Kwazii's tail was flickering in a concerning and hyperactive manner. The Captain was humming.
Tweak, having given up trying to fight against the immense pressure pinning her to the chair, had started asking questions about it.
"How can you do this? A couple of the other fans could do something like this, or summon cookies at any rate, but this seems to be another scale."
"Sure is," Crash laughed. "Very different. This is the Force of the Nerd."
Everyone blinked. Crash tilted his head.
"Why doesn't Shel have that?" Kwazii ventured.
"Good question," said Crash seriously. "Perhaps he does, but he hasn't found it yet."
Everyone looked very worried, Shellington included.
Crash glanced at the door, as if expecting someone. Kwazii picked up and, despite the Captain's reprimanding look, plunged ahead.
"Who are you waiting for matey? You're obviously waiting for someone."
"Aren't we all?" the fish in the jar breathed softly. "It's quarter to nine, she's never late..."
"Who's never late?"
Crash didn't answer. Tweak tried once more to exit her chair. And failed, of course. Crash shuffled his papers and cleared his throat... Or his gills...
"Well, we're on tight schedule so we'll just have to continue without our special guest."
"Without me?" came a female voice from the other side of the door in mock disbelief. "Crash, you wouldn't."
Crash got up and swung the door open. A delicious smell hit the room. Cheesecake... And peaches?
"Amy! Welcome!"
'Amy' was a girl with medium length brown hair, and a certain look in her brown eyes that told you she was taking in every detail about you. Her attire consisted of a black t-shirt with a cyan graphic of an 'A' and casual jeans and shoes. In her arms was indeed a cheesecake.
"Thank you for inviting me Crash. I... Uh would like to... Make an announcement. My English is not too good so please excuse mistakes. I am from Poland, after all."
"Of course," assured Crash. "Come in, you've evidently got a lot of questions."
Amy placed the cheesecake on the table (strictly for intermissions) and took her place on a green beanbag. Crash passed her the stack of paper.
"Right. Beginning now. Question one. To Captain Barnacles, what was life like with Bianca as a cub?"
Captain Barnacles looked thoughtful for a moment. When he spoke, his voice was rich with nostalgia.
"It was wonderful. Bianca and I were very close, and we would explore a lot. Not too unlike Orson and Ursa actually. We had a splendid time exploring the ice caves especially. Most of all, it was freedom. We loved it. I mean, we fought a lot, we're polar bears after all, but we'd always make up by the end of the day. We might be polar bears, but we're also twins."
"Aww that's so sweet! Was she annoying?"
Captain Barnacles glanced around, as if nervous someone would hear.
"Yes. At times, she was insufferable. But so was I, just in a different way. By the time we were ten or eleven, we rarely got on each other's nerves."
"Okay thank you Captain," nodded Amy, satisfied with the answer. "Next for Tweaky. How high can you jump since you're a rabbit?"
