"The next interview will be..." Amy gestured and a drum roll happened. "Koshi saying what she likes about Ranger Marsh."

Paani pulled out that notebook again.

"Well," Koshi said, once she had gotten over the initial shock and horror of being chosen. "I think the Ranger is very much like a father to us all, not just Tweak. Or maybe uncle, if Captain Barnacles is our surrogate father. Either way, you look out for us very well."

"Well thanks li'l one," replied Ranger Marsh.

"Secondly I love your carrot bread," Koshi continued.

"Who doesn't?" Tweak laughed. "I may have the special addiction to it, but all of you have tried it and loved it at one point in time or another."

"Thirdly," Dashi's little sister said. "You're such a good detective and tracker it makes me jealous. I heard from Dashi about that thing in the Everglades where you tracked down the rogue animals and it's incredible!"

"Haha!" laughed the Ranger. "Well, I had plenty of help from the Octonauts, including Tweak's nifty little gadgets."

"Fourthly," Koshi said. "I think it's rather sweet of you when you stand in front of a mirror and practice your dad jokes."

Gwen burst out laughing.

"Well, uh, I'm sure that we don't need to hear that," Ranger Marsh said hurriedly. "Given that this is a proper interview an' all that. How 'bout we hurry on to the next one?"

"Well, the thing that I like most about you," said Koshi. "Is that you're always so brave and strong. You're always ready to put yourself in danger for us. I'm not encouraging this sort of irresponsibility, you're an adult after all, but it means the world when you volunteer yourself for others. You're... You're a really strong person, you know? And we love you for it?"

"Awww, thanks li'l one," Ranger Marsh said, going over and giving Koshi a big hug.

"Sixth," gasped Koshi. "You're really good at bear hugs."
