The light was gone and Dashi all the Octonauts fell to the floor of HQ. Peso stuttered and looked at his flippers.

"I'm... I'm going to be really cliche and ask that wasn't a dream, right?"

"Explain the teleportation down here," Kwazii said. "I was playing Inkling in a game of table tennis before all this happened."

"Explain the fact that all of us are here," said Tracker. "I was in the Arctic just before this, monitoring the station."

"Also," grinned Koshi. "Explain the fact that my sister's now in love with Shellington!"

"She was in love beforehand, muffin," Tweak laughed. "The only thing that's changed is that Shellington knows. And vice versa," she added, gesturing to the couple who were now snuggling and telling the other how much they loved them.

"You're one to talk," grumbled Calico Jack. "You single-handedly stole my grandson away from me." Then he laughed. "Just kidding. You two are going to be awesome together."

"How is everyone going to get home?" Peso asked. "Anastasia, Daniela and my uncle are still here, and without Crash's magic my uncle can't speak our language anymore."

"May I remind you that we're in a submarine-slash-home that can travel around the world in hours," Tweak said with a flourish and a bow. "I'm sure we can handle the situation."

"We'll keep in touch," Kwazii added. "Oh wait I don't speak Spanish," he realised as Peso translated. Bud and Daniela (or "Dani" as Bud called her) were trading new contacts and engineering business cards.

"We'll definitely keep in touch," Anastasia said with a seductive smile to the Captain.

"Of course," he replied, blushing.

"Well, we should better get going," Dashi said, somewhat reluctantly breaking off her make-out session with Shellington. Pearl, sitting next to her brother, gave him a nudge of congratulations.

"Nice work hooking such a nice girl," she whispered to Shellington. "And a fashionable one at that. But anyways, it's been nice seeing you all flustered. Peri and I should be getting back. He's already tired." Indeed, the little sea otter was yawning on his mother's lap.

"Or," Captain Barnacles said, getting up stiffly. "Peri could take a nap in one of the rooms, and all of you could stay for a nice warm dinner after this. The Vegimals have been well busy since we've been away all day..."

That was met with hearty agreement from around the room.

"Okay," grinned Shellington. "It's decided. Besides, weren't the Vegimals figuring out how much they could cook in a day? It'd be a shame if it were all wasted..."

"Alright then," sighed the Captain. "It's been a long day. Let's go eat some dinner."
