Crash stood once Tweak and Kwazii had sat down, this time together and in the same chair, still embracing and whispering the odd endearment in the other's ear.

Dashi, most notably, was grinning almost ear-to-ear at the sight of her friend finally officially with the guy she'd had a crush on since years ago.

That smile was about to change.

"If it's all the same to you hosts," Crash said genially. "I think I'll pick the names for this one." All the other questioners nodded understandingly, knowing what was coming and why Crash would particularly want to do the picking for it. With a typically Crash-like dramatic flourish, the host put one mechanical hand in the hat on his right, and nodded to Princess. The wolf-girl had somehow gotten her hands (paws?) on a drum, and gave a very enthusiastic drum roll.

"The first name is... Shellington Sea Otter."

Kwazii and Tweak jumped simultaneously, a side effect of their incredibly increased reaction times in response to surprising actions. Such as their teammate sitting next to them rapidly increasing their breathing rate by about four breaths per second.

"Please don't hyperventilate," said Peso rather timidly, who was seated on the opposite side.

"Yes, please don't," Vivi added. "It'd be a shame if you fainted before the finale."

"Finale?" Dashi wondered. "What finale?"

"I've said too much," grinned Vivi, waving his hand and making everyone forget what... What happened again?

"But yes," Crash interrupted. "Let's keep going with the other name, shall we?"

While the general air throughout the room of Octonauts reflected that he should do otherwise, Crash proceeded to stick his hand into the other hat and pull out a small slip of paper.

"The person that shall be questioned alongside Shellington is... Dashi!"

The dachshund in question nearly fainted.

Poor Peso, stuck between them, was now attempting to perform a checkup on both Octonauts, to make sure that neither were about to fall dead beside him. Tweak began urging on her best friend from the side of the room. Kwazii gave Shellington a quick elbow.

Neither Dashi nor Shellington said anything.

"Um," coughed Yza. "You might want to say something. That's the... That's the point of an interview, you know?"

"Yeah," Dashi said somewhat breathlessly. "I guess."

Both of the Octonauts in question sat stewing in their own emotions for a moment. Perhaps gathering them, perhaps panicking, perhaps dreaming?

"Anyways, hate to interrupt this little silent brainstorm," Amy said. "But one of you really has to speak up. Who's first?"

Kwazii, apparently unable to hold his patience anymore, gently slid Tweak off his lap temporarily, grabbed Shellington's paw, and shoved it in the air.

Then he let go again and continued cuddling up with his new girlfriend.

"You've been volunteered," shrugged Crash. "But I guess you two want to do what Tweak and Kwazii did? Shellington Sea Otter, please give one reason why you love Dashi so much."

Shellington went beetroot, but continued nonetheless.

"Um... The first... The first thing... That, um, I'd like to..." Shellington trailed off and took some deep shaky breaths. "The first thing I'd like to say for Dashi is that I think she's, uh, super super clever," Shellington mumbled, the words seeming to tumble over themselves out of his mouth.
