"A worldwide pandemic..." The voice on the radio said. It was now day four and everyone had gone apeshit. Apparently this outbreak has something to do with the government... But it's always the government, right?
"Do not stay in one place for too long, the creatures will find you, so keep travelling and remember to travel light."
The static filled mine and Cody's ears and he switched the radio off.

"You heard the lady; we better start moving, we've been here for too long." Cody said, rubbing his temples.
The world outside was nightmarish. Every so often we'd see a family huddled together trying to escape their homes. It never really lasted long for them though, the zombies made sure of that.

"You're right. But can't we stay for one more night? We need energy, and I seriously need a shower." I shuddered, running my hand through my greasy hair. I stared at his red hair as he gently played with it. I stood up silently and went upstairs to think about what we should do.

I woke up to find Cody's unusual eyes staring into mine.
"Rise and shine," Cody chirped "Ew maaaan... You haven't even had a shower yet!" He said, disgusted. As I got up he smiled.
I fell asleep thinking about our escape route, where to go and what to do.

"Maybe..." I mumbled. "Alright, alright, I'll have one now... But I'm starving." I winked at him and walked out of the room into the cool bathroom. I let the warm drops rain on my dirty hair.
Soapy water trailed down my slim body, looking down I sighed.

"He's going to find out one day, Alex." I whispered.
