Chapter Five

Felixs POV

Class ended and I walked to the front looking over my teachers messy hand writing, spotting my name I almost died right there. My name was writen right next to Hyunjins, which meant we would have to be partners on this assignment. I left the class room right away and made an appointment to see my teacher after school. Hopefully she can still switch my name out with someone else. My phone started going off.

Han: Felix whatcha doin?

Me: I'm on my way to my next class why?

Han: do you want to come over after school and hang with Gin and I?

Me: I would love to but I have to work

Han: Damn okay, oh what are you doing Friday?

Me: studying I guess. I don't work this weekend

Han: No you are coming over and we are hanging out :)

Me: Fine okay

I tried to focus on my next classes the rest of the day but honestly I couldn't. I can't work with Hyunjin, after last night I didn't want to be anywhere near him. The final bell rang and I made my way to my teachers room, she was sitting behind her desk and I was surprised to see Hyunjin standing in front of her.

"Ah Felix, come in please" she says motioning me over to her desk. Standing next to Hyunjin I tried to keep my distance. "So you both have the same concern, you wouldn't like to work together" she says looking over her assigned students. We both nod our heads in agreement, at least he was on the same page as me. "Well unfortunately I can't switch anything out so either you guys learn to work together or you can do it separately" she continues.

"Oh then lets just do that" Hyunjin speaks up but the teacher cut him off. "Oh but the assignment would change if you do it separately. I would need a 20 page paper outlining everything in the project". "What thats like three times the work" Hyunjin says back getting annoyed. "I know so pick your poison, work together on an easier assignment or do two separate papers that are 10X harder" she finishes.

"I uh would rather do the paper" I speak up quietly as both of them looked at me shocked. "Felix this is a paper I would expect college kids to do, take the easier assignment" she says softly to me. "We will do the assignment together" Hyunjin says back to her. "Great" she responds.

I didn't even wait I just left the room as fast as I could. Looking down at my phone I realized I needed to get to work so I started running. But I heard foot steps behind me. Turning my head I see Hyunjin catching up to me. Jesus Christ can't I catch a break today. I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around ready to fight him again.

But he comes up to me, bending over trying to catch his breath. "Felix Jesus Christ you should run track or something" he pants out. "What do you want" I ask back to him sternly, trying not to show him how scared I really was. Finally gaining his composure he stood up, I could finally see his face. His sweat dripping down his forehead revealing the bruises I had left him from the night before.

"Look" he starts but I cut him off, "Hyunjin I will do the whole fucking assignment just leave me alone" turning around quickly trying to make it to work. But he grabbed me turning me back to him, he stopped before he spoke. His eyes were soft looking at me. Just then he snaps back, "good I need a good grade on this so you better not fuck this up" he says pushing me backwards.

I watched as he walked away from me. I made it to work with a few minutes to spare, working my regular tables and hours. Finishing up for the day I left work and headed home. Getting home late I saw a note left from Ronnie telling me she was staying at one of the girls dorms for the night. I preferred to be alone honestly. I took out my notes and started looking over the assignment.
