I woke up the next morning to Brady barging into my room, throwing open the curtains to the window beside my bed and picking me up and throwing me onto the couch in my room.
"Brady! What the hell was that for?" I shouted, flipping the hair out of my face and giving my older brother a glare.
"Emma's made some pancakes if you want some." was all that Brady said, exiting the room. I grumbled at Brady's childishness but got off the couch anyways, the mention of Emma's famous pancakes enough to get me up at any time. I made my way to the bathroom that was connected to my room, grabbing a change of clothes on the way there. I hopped into the shower to hopefully freshen up after my flight from St. Louis, as I had pretty much fallen asleep as soon as I had gotten to Brady and Emma's place.
Once I had gotten out of the shower and changed into a fresh set of clothes, I headed into the kitchen, greeted by the smell of pancakes.
"I love you, Emma," I sighed, sitting down, Emma placing a large stack of pancakes down in front of me. I almost inhaled the pancakes that Emma had made and soon, Brady and I were getting ready to meet up with his teammates.
"I still have no idea how you can eat so much food." Brady said as we hopped into his car and drove off to the CTC.

"Sophie!" I heard my name shouted almost immediately after I entered the CTC. I looked up and saw Jacob waving at me with a huge smile on his face.
"Jake!" I dashed towards him and quickly gave him a hug.
"Vhat? Do I not get a hug?" I heard Timmy ask from behind me.
"I'm sorry, Timmy," I apologised dramatically, pulling him into a hug as well. "Miss me?"
"Of courze I mizzed you, Lia. You're zo much culer zan your broffer." Timmy replied, offending Brady who was standing a few feet behind me.
"Hey! Timmy! I'm right here!" Brady exclaimed, making Timmy and I laugh.
"Oh, Brady, you really need to learn that I am the favourite Tkachuk." I joked, patting him on the shoulder. "Now, come on. I didn't come all the way to Canada just to talk all day. let's play some hockey!" I shouted, pushing Timmy and Jacob to the dressing rooms.
As soon as I walked into the Sens' dressing room, I was greeted by the familiar face of Thomas Chabot.
"Hey, Soph! It's good to see you again!" Thomas greeted, pulling me into that weird bro-hug all guys do.
"It's good to see you too, Chabby." I replied, a smile on my face. "How's life in the Great White North treating you?"
"I keep forgetting about all of the nicknames you have for Canada." Chabby chuckled. "But life up here's been great. I'm sure you already know this, but we have some new players on the team this year. I'll introduce you to them as soon as they get here. In the mean time, lace up and meet us on the ice. We have to see how much you've improved since last summer."
Chabby soon left the dressing room, throwing on his classic, #72 Ottawa Senators jersey and heading towards the ice. I sat down on the bench and placed my bag of gear onto the ground, grabbing everything I'd need out of it. I quickly put on all of my gear and was lacing up my skates before Timmy walked into the dressing room.
"Do you zink you'll be able to beat me zis year in zkillz?" Timmy teased.
"Shut up, Timmy," I said, rolling my eyes. He was talking about last summer when I visited the team for a few weeks. Timmy and I had a little competition to see who had the better skills between the two of us. Timmy won that one, but I had been training every day since then to hopefully destroy him this year.
