Beck's POV:
"John we have to figure this out. What am I supposed to tell Alexia when we get home? We have leads we just have to tie them together!" I said knocking my hand against the surface of the table we were sitting around in the old packhorse.
"Easier said than done," Justin muttered.
"Beck you're right. What did you find?" John said gesturing for me to take the floor again.
"Well we found a pack register and there were a few people with names that start with, 'D', but we wouldn't be able to see which of them is still alive and who is not, because we don't know anybody." I began and closed my eyes, rubbing my temples. "But I have to ask you something."

"What is it Beck?" John asked me.

"We found your family tree. There was Alexia and Lily, Darren, and Ethan. Then her father, and mother. Than you, and someone else, but they were removed. Who was it?"

John stilled and looked up at me, his eyes hardened.

"We don't talk about him. He was exiled years ago." he growled.

"Why?" I asked picking up my pen. He paused and stared at me with wide eyes.

"Fuck," he breathed. "Dear Goddess,"

"What, John? Tell me."

"But it doesn't make any sense." he said shaking his head.

"John. Listen to me. I need you to tell me what happened."

"How in the hell did he..?"

"JOHN!" I yelled. He jumped and looked at me. " Talk to me."

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Beck there's a lot you need to know." he began slowly. "And you won't like a lot of it."

I growled lowly. "What?"

He nodded and opened his mouth to speak. "Our brother was exiled a long time ago. He was supposed to be Alpha of the pack. But he was power hungry. Tried to push our father into wars with other packs. He wanted to create an empire and establish himself as a King. Our Father thought he was too reckless to rule, and named Alexia's father to be Alpha. There was an issue with Alexia's father taking the title." I raised my eyebrows at him, urging him to go on.

"Alexia's mother had Darren, but after he was born they tried to have another pup, but they were unable to conceive. "

"How was Alexia born then?" I asked cocking an eyebrow at him.

"I'm getting there. Alexia is" he sighed. "Alexia is not the biological daughter of my brother and sister in law. She is..." He stopped and closed his eyes.

"She's what?" I pressed.

"She is and always will be, the only daughter of the Moon Goddess, Celene and the God of the Earth, Atlas." He said and opened his eyes to look at me. I was quiet for a minute, mulling this over in my mind.

"What..." I began, "The fuck are you on?" He growled and glared at me.

"I'm being serious. When Alexia was born, the offspring of gods were taboo. They were not, by law to create a being that would be as powerful as the already existing gods, in fear of a new line of rule."

"So how by chance did Alexia end up in your brother's arms?" I asked suspicious.

"I know it's hard to believe Beck-" He began but I cut him off.

"No it's damn near impossible to believe." I clarified. "How am I to believe that Alexia is the daughter of not one but two gods? But grew up a normal wolf."

"Hear me out. I am telling the truth. Celene, came to her parents and asked that they care for her child. Being well, a goddess, Celene knew they couldn't produce anymore pups. And made a deal with my brother. She bargained that if they were to care for Alexia, she would grant them as many pups as they desired. Why do you think Alexia was my brother's favorite?" He said, looking me in the eye.
