Lightbulb's POV:
"OH NO OH NO OH NOOOO! Painty, WAKE UP! Oh my electric, this is awful! Sugar Drop could break into the room any minute now!!" I yelled, sounding brittle. I kept shaking Paintbrush and crying, while the noises of banging on my door and, "You're SO GONNA GET IT!" Were playing over and over again in the background like a tape recorder. Paintbrush had to get up! I started to wraps it's foot as fast as I could with bandages from my first aid kit that I always kept in my room.

Suddenly after 5 minutes, it's eyes started to flutter open, and I had just finished wrapping. "Wha-what? Lightbulb, why happened?" Paintbrush looked at the foot and a confused expression appeared on her face. "-and why is my foot all wrapped up?" I scrambled up to the bed, because I was putting the wrap away. I jumped onto the bed and hugged Painty as quickly as I could. "PAINTY! THANK HEAVENS YOU'RE AWAKE! We have to go! SD could run in here any minute!"

I started to pack everything for the trip as Paintbrush sat on the bed in confusion. My clothes, Painty's clothes, toothbrushes (We don't wanna look like run aways if we are!), hairbrushes, the chips from earlier in a zip-lock bag, water bottles, a buttload of granola bars, money, and anything else I could fit in the backpack.

As I zipped it up, Paintbrush screamed. "What is it, Painty?" It slowly mouthed to me, "Don't...move...SD...is behind you." I froze and felt heavy breathing behind me. I slowly continued to zip up the bag, and SD hissed, "What do you think you're doing, Bulby bear?" I quickly picked up the backpack, threw it on me, and yelled, "Getting away from you, that's what!"

I slung Paintbrush over my shoulders, put a soft blanket around it, and started to race out of the room. I wasn't a very fast person, but I was strong. Sort of. Sugar Drop doesn't really like to run, but with me there is an exception. She was on my tail, she literally was two inches behind me and Painty, and I was about 4 feet from the front door. It was already open, so all I have to do is push open the glass door and shut the front door. But the house's alarm was set, and my parents were down in the basement with friends.

I dove for the door, and I heard a slamming noise. Through the big window on the door, Sugar Drop's face was squished against it. I giggled. It looked really funny, and she looked a bit like a pig with a misshapen head. Then I realized, who closed the door? "Wait a minute, I only opened the glass door..." "Don't worry Lightbulb. It was me."

I was shocked. I thought Painty was still in a daze! "Thanks for all your help with her, Painty. I really appreciate it." Suddenly I remembered. We didn't lock the door. I started to run again, Paintbrush still on my shoulders. I ran across the block, and behind a restaurant called 'LuLu's Palace'.

"Hey Lightbulb, why are you carrying me again? Why do I also have a blanket wrapped around me?" Paintbrush asked. "Well, Sugar Drop cut and hurt your foot pretty badly, I'm not sure how, and it was raining outside and stuff, so I didn't want you to get a cold or sick because you're wearing a tang top and shorts." She looked at me with concern and asked, "What about you? You're probably freezing and wet too! You're wearing shorts twice as much shorter as mine! And you don't have a jacket!" I then responded, "Oh, I'll be fine. Trust me. I'm co-ACHOO!"

Paintbrush frowned at me and as the rain drops fell hard onto my head, Painty wrapped the blanket around us. I looked at it and smiled. Paintbrush, even in the pouring rain, looked so...nice. And beautiful. Did I like Painty? Yes. Was she the crush I was talking about earlier? Definitely. It scooted a bit closer to me, and I suddenly felt so warm. My cheeks were a faint red. It wrapped up the blanket a bit more around us. "Thanks, Painty. You really don't have to do-" "But I want to, don't question it." Paintbrush interrupted. We sat there until the rain stopped, about 7 minutes later. "Hey, it stopped raining Lightbulb! Isn't that great?"

I sort of wished it could've lasted longer, it was nice. "Yeah!" Paintbrush cocked her head at me and asked, "So, now that we're run aways, what do we do? Where should we 'run away' to?" I shrugged. "Not sure. We'll figure it out along the way. Want a granola bar?" Paintbrush happily nodded and I handed her the unwrapped chocolate chip bar. It took a bite and said, "So let's go!" Paintbrush stood up, then her foot bent, and fell right back down. "OW! Whoops, forgot about that."

I picked her back up and it started to drizzle. I wrapped the blanket around it and she yelled, "Lightbulb, you seriously don't need to carry me! I'll hop! And YOU take the blanket!" Painty tried to take it off and give me it, but I couldn't let it do that. "No, Paintbrush. I'M gonna take care of you. You're hurt, and I'll protect you." Paintbrush groaned and said, "Fine."

I walked with it to a doctor's office that was about 7 blocks away. "Ok, Painty. I'm gonna take you to a doctor. You need to get your foot looked at." Paintbrush started to shiver and said, "Why the doctor?!? I HATE doctors." I gasped at it. "Painty, that's rude! Doctors are great! Also, you're shivering. Are you still cold? I wrap you up some more if so."

It started to rain harder as we continued walking. 6 blocks away now. "I'm shivering? YOU'RE shivering! Take the stupid blanket!" "NO!" "WHATEVER. Then freeze to death!" I shot back, "I'd rather die than let you freeze! So deal with it!" Paintbrush shut up for the next 6 blocks towards the doctors, then screamed. "I really DON'T like the doctors office! I'll start crying if you bring me in there!" Oh no it doesn't! "Oh no you don't! I'm bringing you in there, and you're gonna like it! I don't even care if you cry, you'll just embarrass yourself, silly!" I took Paintbrush off my back, which was now soaked, and carried it bridal style into the lobby.

Everyone waiting for an appointment started to stare at us, probably because
A) I was carrying Painty bridal style.
B) It was February and raining and we had shorts and tang tops on and no jackets, and
C) Paintbrush was wrapped in a blanket, and I had a black eye.

We walked up to the front desk and set up an appointment. "Um, girls, where might your parents be?" Lightbulb responded, "Clip Board, I thought you knew who I was! I'm the one with the older sister who is a dancer?" He sat there, not remembering and thinking. I tried again "Always comes in here from falling down and hurting myself in all sorts of places? You called me Clumsy Circuit, for crying out loud!" He then held up his finger and said, "Ah yes, I do remember you now! You are excused, since you live a few blocks away anyways. Whom's name should I call when ready?" Lightbulb responded, "Painty, I mean, Paintbrush Color." "I'll call you when you're ready."

(A/N: It's not as emotional as last time! But Lightbulb is SOOO sweet in this chapter, in my opinion! Hope you liked it! Also remember to comment, rate, and, if you're not, follow me!)
