It was said, throughout history, some pasts are better left buried or forgotten.

~~~~Christian's POV~~~~
It was the middle of the night, I finished the basic schematics in building an alternative power source that utilises the Lumia attribute. without realising, the bleakness of my throat became a hassle so I decided to go out of my room and head to the kitchen; when walking down the hallway, silence erupts around me like even the smallest movement can be heard in this situation. Although my entire body is fixated into attempting to obtain the water downstairs, my eyes divert to the very corners as if something...or someone can just be seen if you look at the very corner of your eye.
Regardless, when doing so, nothing. Silence floods my ears again, while walking down the hallway; it felt like my mind was playing tricks as it looked like the walls were thinning and expanding. As I reached the stairs, it felt like my mind was finally relieved due to these tricks no longer playing and the entire floor was returned to normal. I made my way down and into the kitchen, opened the fridge and poured myself a glass of water; as I was turning myself back, a figure appeared in front me. Due to an open frame leading from the kitchen to the living room, the figure was at the end of the living room, looking directly at me.
For some reason, my body wasn't trembling in fear but reacted accordingly that I put the glass of water down and secretly activated an ability under the exertia attribute to acquire a knife from across the table, though as doing so, the figure took notice of my actions and sprinted to right in front of me and grabbed my face; the hood of the figure was removed and what I see now is a mask, similar to an Oni one but instead of the smile and horns or tusks, it was a black cracked ocean blue mask with a sea design. Its eyes started to glow and my entire body was slowly shutting down like it was giving into it, my mind became heavy and then all I can see is just the empty void with a very shallow water depth that didn't even go past the midsole of my shoes.
After checking my surroundings and standing for a couple of minutes, the same mask that was on the person reappeared but in much larger scale and was looking directly at me like some ant towards a human. Its eyes glowed an even brighter white until it enveloped me into a now white room, the room became thinner, like the very walls of the place was closing in on me. That is until the final stretch of the walls, the surroundings of the place began to develop into a large cavern with dim lights and a massive rectangular table in the middle. The outer surrounding was what you expect from a cavern, a water stream going around the place, moss and greenery taking in part of the cave and the normal creepy looking people all dawning a mask but with various different designs.
They were all conversing with one another until five other members entered the hall, the entire hall echoed with silence when they walked down the isle. It was then all members looked at each other nodded, then proceeded to head to a certain position in the large mithril long table. One of the members was wearing a mask that was dawning black but with blue and white lightning streaks coming down from the top to the bottom and horns representing the guardian of lightning. The other one was wearing a white mask with half of the mask filled with floral petals of sakurania flowers, the one behind the front that's walking on his left side is wielding a mask that was in the shape of a full skull mask but cracked as the glimpses of the cracks hold a life of green. The other one on the right side of the person at the front, the mask their wielding is the exact same one as the person that attacked me earlier. Lastly, the supposed ring leader that marches at the head of the group, their mask was the eeriest as the colour was black and crimson red around the mask in a blaze of fire look. The sockets where the eyes can see through the mask, was glowing a dark red, ready to set the world in a sea of flame.
